Theo never did come. It had been a few days, and tonight was the full moon. I was a mess. I was skipping today. I was in so much pain. The body aches, has a high fever, and has an exploding headache.
Demi had stopped last night. That was when it had started to get worse. A cold flannel has plenty of fluids. She wanted me to see Madam Pomfrey, but I refused.
"I can skip lessons with you?" Demi sighed as she did up her yellow tie.
"Honestly, it's okay, I have already been excused for today." I groaned.
"I'm just worried about you. I'm scared all this is going to cause you to turn." Demi mumbled.
"I still haven't decided." I mumbled.
"You need to. You only have until tonight." Demi sighed.
"I get that!" I shouted.
"God, it's worse than you being on your bloody period!" Demi huffed.
"I'm sorry." I sobbed.
Demi came over and pulled me into a hug. "I love you, Lyla, okay. Will you be here when I'm back?"
"I don't know." I mumbled. "I love you Lyla if you are you or you give in." Demi sighed.
The day dragged on for me. I was aching so much the fever consuming my body in that moment I wanted to die. I had sweat all over my bed, which was now damp.
Pealing myself away from my bed, a knock was heard. "Go away!" I muttered.
"Lyla, it's me Theo let me in." He shouted.
I sighed as I pulled my achey body to the door and pulled it open.
"Fucking hell you look like shit." Theo gasped as he walked in.
"I didn't even let you in." I grumbled. Theo looked over at my damp bed and back to me. "What's going on you haven't been to lessons?" He asked concerned trying to look at my arms.
"You fucking idoit." I sighed. "It's a full bloody moon." I grumbled.
"Shit but you don't transform you wasn't attacked on a full moon?" Theo quizzed.
"Why doesn't anyone understand how it works." I mumbled.
"What am I missing?" Theo asked.
"When you are attacked you have a choice. The reason why kids get attacked is they can't control themselves!" I snapped.
