Moments passed, and Paul was walking through the city of London, trying to search for Heather. "Princess Tiger?!" He yelled, his voice wavering as the wind blowing began to pick up speed and cool down dramatically. He soon came across this chipping old fence that led towards the local church rock garden, where a chilly and tiny river brook flowed gently, that was where he found Heather skipping pebbles across the stream. The two remained silent, but the energy was tense as the wind violently blew through their hair. "Heather? Are you ok?" He asked softly as he watched her plop pebbles into the water again, as she refused to give him eye contact. "Why'd you run off? What happened?" He asked, trying to keep his composure. Heather soon glared at him, as her blonde hair covered her eyes colored of ice. He continued to look at her with concern, but now with added intensity.
"Ruth isn't my friend...." Heather soon whispered as she tossed multiple rocks she was holding in her hand into the water making them crack and crash loudly as Paul studied her. "What are you talking about? What did she do?" He asked as he raised his eyebrows in perplexity. "She made me play with her mean friends....and so I threw wood chips at them....so they'd fuck off....and now I wanna go back home..." Heather answered as Paul's eyes widened by her answers. "Fuck off? Where did you learn that type of language?" He asked as she turned to him and smiled. "From you Mr. Paul.....duh, that's what you told your boss that was mean to you.....then you threw Mr. Ringo's drum sticks....right at him! Hi-ya!" Heather soon giggled as she jumped off the rock she was standing on and began to mimic karate type movements as Paul giggled. "I see....well, I'm glad you stood up for yourself....come on, let's get back home, we can get some food....and watch The Banana Splits together..." Paul suggested as Heather giggled in agreement, and he picked her up so he could carry her. "I'd like that..." she agreed as he smiled at her.
Back at the apartment, the two of them were eating ice cream while they watched The Banana Splits on the television. "So how's your double deluxe chocolate ice cream?" Paul asked as he smiled at Heather who was covered with sticky chocolate on her face and fingers. "Mighty good!" She answered as she licked her fingers and he giggled. "Good, um, I wanted to talk to you about something?" He asked as he watched her slop the ice cream from the bowl with her hands into her mouth. "About what?" She smiled, showing the cream caked onto her teeth. "How would you feel about starting primary school? He asked as the television switched to the commercial break.
"I don't wanna go to school, not with Ruth and those other mean kids!" Heather protested as Paul nodded as he continued to watch her enjoy her sweet treat. "I understand, and I'm not asking you to....but as we learned today, I can't bring you to the studio, and also we know that Rose isn't always here.....so it's just somewhere you can be taken care of during the day....okay?" Paul reassured her as she handed him her empty bowl. "Alright......but, can I bring my magical sunglasses? In case the other kids don't like me...." Heather asked as he nodded and smiled. "Of course..." he agreed as she stood up and jumped up and down. "Thanks Mr. Paul!!" she cheered happily as he laughed as the television program returned.
