CHAPTER XVIII
< Finn Ames and the Lovely Letter >
 Falling into Stardust Arc

"POSE!" Yelled the photographer as he began clicking at an immense rate.

Himeakira had come a long way. Finn's second performance sparked a positive wave that not only cemented his place in the idol world but also lifted Himeakira into the spotlight. Since then, they had been busier than ever.

They found themselves pulled in every direction — talk shows, mini-performances, commercials, radio shows, and countless other events. Their biggest and most important event, a performance at the dome, was coming up fast. This was their pinnacle, a chance to perform in front of thousands.

"And cut!"

"We're finally done!" Lemon sighed as she yawned, dramatically stretching her arms in the air. "Posing for hours is harder than dancing. I can't believe I had to retake a shot ten times!"

"You're not off the hook yet, Lemon-chan," Anna patted her shoulder, her own eyes being drowsy. "We still have to shoot the last bit of the new music video."

"Do we have to?" The blonde's shoulders sagged as she groaned, "I need energy! I need strawberry cakes! That'll get me pumped up!"

Finn chuckled softly, though he was equally exhausted. Yet, despite the fatigue, there was a warm, almost giddy feeling growing inside him. It had been months since he joined the idol group, and to say the journey had been tough would be putting it mildly.

As he looked at his two friends, he found himself overwhelmed by the reality of it all. He was really here—performing, admired by fans... supported by his friends and his brother.

It felt surreal; a strange, unfamiliar sensation to be surrounded by so much love. It seeped into his heart. Nothing could go wrong now, right?

His songs... were reaching almost everyone.

Yes, songs. Finn has been composing more songs lately, and he'd been pumping it out faster than an average artist could. He had written about two songs at this point, and another one halfway done. Lemon and Anna had written about five songs each too, which included their old songs. The rest were written by hired composers, all of which would be performed at the dome.

Himeakira collapsed onto a nearby couch, groaning in unison.

Finn tapped his phone impatiently, "I'm ordering some carrot muffins, what do you two want?"

"Order me some strawberry mochi, Finn-kun! Five dozen!"

"Where are you buying from? Is there omurice there?"

The two awkwardly froze. Lemon's eyes widened with her jaw as wide as it could possibly be. Meanwhile, Finn almost dropped his phone in shock.

"...What?" Anna waved her hand around them, trying to see if her two friends didn't just faint with their eyes open.
