CHAPTER IV < Anna Crown, Lemon Irvine and The Rookie > 《 Stumbling into Stardom Arc 》
FINN faced front with two of the world's youngest and most popular idols. Their outfits were outstandingly adorable, and his eyes stared at them as if he were facing the sun. He couldn't help but squint; else his eyes would cry from burning 'cause of too much brightness.
"Oh, our spotlight is kind of blinding you, Finn-san." Anna paused and moved the light equipment out of the way.
The young Ames blinked his eyes. He initially thought that the two idols were going to be the cause of his blindness. Is this what Lance Crown was talking about? That siscon wasn't kidding!
"Finn-kun, you were serious about being an idol?" Lemon walked towards him, observing his features up close, "Hmm... I guess you do have the face to be one."
The two led the new member deeper into the room. There he gazed at the surroundings, internalizing the fact that this would be his second home now. The walls were painted in a soft pastel blue while a light pink carpet covered the floor. There was also a huge mirror room with an empty space, perhaps this is where they practice and dance. By the corner of the room stood three make-up vanity tables stocked with a variety of cosmetics, neatly organized in clear acrylic trays.
One of the vanity tables had a yellow accent to it and had a lot of fox-themed decorations around. Finn also noticed the photo frame standing by the side, the image inside it showed the very first hangout that the five of them had gone to. Even five creampuff plushies resembling their silly squad sat at the table.
"Don't touch Mash!" Lemon swatted Finn's hand away from the creampuff stuff toy, though he hadn't actually reached for anything.
"Ouch!" Finn winced, tears welling up. It was the same hand that Lance had hit the day before, and it was still swollen and reddish. "Geez..."
"Lemon-san! Apologize to Finn-san right now!" The blue-haired girl smacked her in the back.
The older idol crossed her arms, "What? Why should I apologize? He shouldn't have been poking around!"
"He's the newest member of Himeakira," Anna put her hands beside her hips as she nuzzled her, "We should be welcoming, not hitting. We shouldn't fight among ourselves!"
"But, Anna-chan, he touched Mash!" Lemon pouted, clearly reluctant to apologize. She even gave Finn a sharp, snake-like glare.
"Finn-san wasn't even 10 meters near your table," Anna sighed, "Really, Lemon-san? Are you going to act like a kid, just like my nii-chan did?"
"Fine," The blonde gritted her teeth, and begrudgingly apologized, "Sorry, Finn. Just... keep your hands off Mash next time."
