FINN'S ENCORE
Thank you and goodnight!CHAPTER XX
< Love Cute and Worth in Love >
《 Falling into Stardust Arc 》THEY felt the cold draft that swept through Love Cute's house as the door creaked open. Their little group had come here to confront her, to find out if she was really behind the death threat. The air had the sense of looming dread while the group—Finn, Rayne, Lance, Wirth, Lemon, and Anna—burst through the front entrance, their footsteps echoing against the walls.
Lemon bit her lip. "Should we be barging into someone's house like this? What if she gets violent?"
"She already did," Rayne said without turning around. "That death threat she sent wasn't just words. We can't take any chances."
"As Divine Visionaries, we have authority here. If anything goes wrong, I'll take responsibility." Lance's eyes darted around the room as if searching for any hidden danger.
Lemon swallowed hard but nodded. Finn could see the unease in her eyes, though she knew these two could protect them if anything were to happen.
Wirth, too, was visibly tense. His brow furrowed in thought as he looked around Love's meticulously curated space. Every inch of it screamed of her desperation to control the narrative of her life—one of beauty, fame, and adoration. Yet beneath all that lay something darker. He could feel it. He could always sense when something was wrong, especially with someone like Love Cute, someone who mattered to him.
Love Cute was seated on her couch in the middle of the room, her phone in hand, fingers dancing across the screen as though she hadn't noticed their entrance. The faint sound of her typing was the only noise in the room. For a long, heavy moment, no one moved or said anything, waiting for her to acknowledge them.
"Love," Wirth called out.
She didn't even look up at first, her fingers still clacking away on the phone. When she finally did, her eyes scanned each of their faces. "Well, look who decided to invade my personal space. How incredibly rude." Her voice was dripping with sarcasm.
Rayne didn't mince his words. "We're not here for pleasantries, Love Cute."
Her smirk deepened. "I assumed as much." She sat up straighter, tossing her phone onto the coffee table beside her. "This must be about the letter."
Finn flinched at the mention of the death threat. "You sent it, didn't you?" He asked, fear churning in his gut.
Love didn't answer right away. She crossed one leg over the other and leaned back into the couch, looking utterly unbothered by the accusation. "And what if I did? What are you going to do about it, oh Finn-kun?"
The air shifted, growing heavier with the weight of her confession. No one moved. No one breathed. Love's voice pierced through the silence like a knife.
