It's been a few days since their trip was planned, and everyone is really excited.
One morning, Aarohi stormed into Sakshi's room.
“Sakshi! Sakshi!”
"Stop shouting; I'm listening. What's happened?"
Sakshi replied.
"As we're going on a trip after Gautami and Abhyudaya's marriage, let's plan something romantic!"
Aarohi suggested enthusiastically.
Sakshi thought for a few minutes, then agreed. They talked for a while about how Abhyudaya still looks at Gautami. Aarohi also knew about their past. Now they only wanted to fix their misunderstandings. They both woke up really early that morning. They thought about going to the café a little earlier today. But since Gautami was sleeping peacefully, they didn't want to disturb her.
Gautami's pov:
I was sleeping peacefully, but I'm not feeling well—I'm getting sudden cramps. It's really weird. I slowly woke up and sat on the bed, carefully freeing myself from him. I still love him, but he doesn't. Maybe in these days he has found someone who truly loves him. But it's his bad luck that he had to marry me. I'm always the problem.
I looked under the blanket and—
I'VE GOT MY PERIOD!
"Oh no!"
I yelled a little loudly. Abhi started stirring. Oh God, what will I say to him if he wakes up? I also didn't bring my pads with me. And now I can't even go to Sakshi or Aarohi.
"What should I do now?"
I was panicking, but suddenly I heard a voice from behind.
"What happened? Why did you shout?"
Abhi asked in an innocent and sleepy tone. I was really shocked.
"Nothing,"
I said, looking to the other side. He raised his eyebrows and started looking at me in disbelief.
"Really? Are you fine?"
"Y-yes, obviously."
Without a word, he peeked under the blanket. Oh no, now what will he think about me? I closed my eyes. Suddenly, I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Open your eyes,"
he said softly, and I obeyed his words. I opened my eyes.
"It's okay. Now go and change your clothes. Did you bring your pads?"
I was shocked—he wasn't angry. I shook my head. I took my clothes and ran to the washroom.
End of Gautami's pov.
Abhyudaya got out of bed.
"I told her I'd get the pads—now what should I do?"
he thought for a few moments.
"Ah, let me ask Sakshi."
He went to Sakshi's room and knocked on her door. She opened it, annoyed.
"What is it?"
she asked.
At first, he hesitated to speak, but he took a deep breath and said,
"Do you have extra... p-pads?"
He said it with his eyes closed.
"WHAT?!"
Sakshi was really shocked, as she had never told him about her periods.
