So... I have no idea what happened to the chapters of this book. The chapters are not serial, after chapter 3 it jumped straight to chapter 6 and so chapter 4&5 are after chapter 9. So if anyone is reading, please read it serially. I'll try to edit it back.

Author POV
Kerissa was yet again late for her classes. She had dozed off after staying up the night writing her notes and studying. Internal Exams were starting next week.
"I hate life! " Kerissa complained while heading quickly to class. This time, luckily she didn't had to climb the gates since it was open.
She entered the class like it was nothing and slumped on her seat. "Dang, I didn't know classes were this boring when you're without your friend " Kerissa mumbled. She took out her notebook and started taking down the key points.
After 1 hour, class finally ended. It was torture for Kerissa to take down notes since before she only listened. "Is this how Arin felt?! "
She went to the cafeteria to eat breakfast. College timing was back to normal for morning classes, 7:15 am. So most students skip breakfast and just eat here.
"I wonder what Arin is doing " Kerissa mumbled while taking a bite of her toast. She took out her phone and dialed her number.
"Hey-"
"Hey, I'm a little busy, I'll call you back later " Arin just ended the call like that.
"Oh okay... " she retracted the phone back, sadly.
She then finished her breakfast and headed to her next class. On the way....
"Hey Kerissa, where you heading? " she met Naomi. Kerissa was finally happy now. She gave her a big smile.
"Heading to Professor Smith's lecture, what about you? "
"Heading to the Architecture department "
"Aren't you from the Business department? " Kerissa asked confused.
They talked while walking side by side. "Yeah, I'm am. Just meeting up with Giselle " she answered smiling.
"Oh that's nice "
"Y'know, always seeing you with Arin, now it seems like you're umm.... maybe not that energetic I guess? "
"Yeah I'm also used to her presence " Kerissa answered, tired.
"My cues here, see ya " Naomi waved her goodbye after she walked her own different way.
"See ya " Kerissa did the same. "Can't wait for the Internals to end" she mumbled to no one.
During class
"So you all will be given a total of 80 minutes to answer 60 questions " Professor Smith starts explaining, which was the same almost every year. "And as always, if you finish early, you leave early BUT remember! these marks will be add up for the finals so don't be in a rush "
She starts distributing the papers and making sure no one gets to cheat. "You all can start " .
Kerissa looked at her paper and realized these were the questions that she had purposely skipped. She was doomed. But decided to use her brain and tried to recall the points Arin had told her to mark important.
After 70 minutes, Kerissa finally finished. Many students were still doing the exam and only few had submitted and left. She double checked her answers and submitted and left the lecture hall. Another four more exams and she was finally done.
Wednesday and Thursday were her next classes, so tomorrow she had an off and had ample time to study. Fridays she had practical half of the day doing research in the lab and whatnot.
Her next and last class starts around 10 a.m and now it was 9:50 a.m. She just headed to her next class.
"Just can't wait for the upcoming basketball competition and I'll make sure to beat that shit in this game" Kerissa swore to herself.
So, every semester there was sports completion held. Which is an inter- college competition and annoyingly enough for Kerissa, if they ever play against Pansys basketball team, they mostly loose against them and it made Kerissa boil her up to her coil.
Class ended and Kerissa went home and finally reached the doorstep of her apartment. She entered her password and saw a pair of shoes on the shoe rack.
"Who came in? " Kerissa thought but she wasn't scared since she isn't that type of person.
She slowly entered the living room and saw no one there nor in the kitchen.
"It can't be Arin since I think she's coming back this Sunday " she mumbled to herself. "And we're the other two who knows the passcode "
Just then the door of the bathroom opened and from there Arin came out while drying her hair with a towel.
"Oh, you're back " Arin casually asked her.
"Damn, you scared me for no good " Kerissa surprised. "I thought you were coming this Sunday "
"I thought so too, but then I couldn't miss the internals so I came back " Arin said while taking a seat in the couch.
"You're so desperate for marks " Kerissa stated shaking her head.
"Of course, by the way, how was today's paper? "
"Most of the questions that I skipped came "
"Idiot I already told you to mark the important ones !" Arin scolded.
"I know and thanks to that I was able to write cause I kind to summarized it "
"Well that's good to hear "
"What are you going to do for today's paper since you've missed it? "
"I informed Prof. Smith and he said I can write it tomorrow morning "
"Damn you're lucky. If it was any other students he would've never let them take a retest! "
"I know and that's why I told my dad to speak to him giving excuses " Arin answered with a smug smirk.
"Smart "
"I know "
