It's been about a week since Ga On was shot and Yo Han was honestly avoiding him ever since that tragic day.
First and foremost, Ga On needed time to heal and he's been sleeping a lot and not really talking to anybody.
Secondly, they agreed on giving themselves time to figure things out and Yo Han was dying inside, because he seriously wanted to just talk to him already.
And the thing is – he would really like to go back to Switzerland already, but he cannot do that until they talk.
He's been dreading going to see Ga On, because he's not sure about his decision yet and he's honestly scared of his reaction.
He decided that he'd talk to him tonight.
Which is why he's been packing all day, because he wants to go back home tomorrow. He already arranged everything for his departure, the only thing left was to just talk to Ga On and then move on.
It's not only Ga On he's been avoiding the whole week, it's basically everyone else. But well, it's not like it was hard to do. In Guk hasn't been by the house ever since the Sun Ah incident and he's not sure if he and Jin Joo are okay.
Elijah has been spending a lot of time with So Yoon and they were either out somewhere together, or at the house, entertaining Ga On.
So Yo Han was just left alone, and he was actually very happy about it. At least he had time to think.
But nothing could last forever, obviously, because just as he was packing, Elijah decided to come see him.
"Are you leaving for good this time?" She asked, walking over to sit on the chair next to the window in his room.
"That's the plan," Yo Han nodded. "I'm hoping no one's life will be in danger anymore, so I feel like I'm finally free to leave."
Elijah snorted at that. And then they fell silent.
He continued gathering his things and she just sat there and watched him.
"You know I'm staying here, right?" Elijah spoke after a few minutes of silence.
"I'm aware," Yo Han turned to her. "I wouldn't dare make you leave. Since you like this place, it's your right to stay here, Elijah. And you have so many people that care about you now, no wonder you want to stay. I'm really happy you found a place for yourself."
"Thanks for understanding," Elijah smiled at him. "So, is your place really in Switzerland?" She asked.
"It is," he said. He kind of figured where this conversation was going, so he dropped what he was doing and he went to sit with her, to have a proper talk.
"When are you leaving?"
"Tomorrow."
"Does Ga On know that?" Elijah asked, looking concerned.
"Not yet, but I'm going to talk to him tonight," Yo Han stated. "We— Well, we have a lot to talk about. I gave him a week to think things through. I did some thinking of my own. We'll talk, and then I'm leaving."
Elijah's eyes widened, but then she started nodding slowly. "Okay. And... What's the final decision?" She asked curiously.
"It's better if I just leave and never come back here," Yo Han shrugged.
She looked like she wanted to fight him. "Well, it's not better for Ga On, that's for sure," she pointed out. "You can't leave him, Yo Han! It's going to break him."
"Then what am I supposed to do?" Yo Han asked her, annoyed. "He's still not over the fact that I killed people. I know I can't trust him fully. And obviously I'm not going to stay here to find out if we'd work. And it's not like I can ask him to come with me and live in Switzerland and sleep in a different room until we work out our differences."
