The Abyss Awaits

The abyss awaits, its cold embrace,
A hollow realm, a timeless space.
No light to guide, no hand to hold,
Just shadows whispering tales untold.

I stand at the edge, nowhere to flee,
The emptiness below is calling me.
I’ve fallen far, there’s no return,
The lessons learned are bitter, stern.

The abyss awaits, and I feel its pull,
A force relentless, dark and full.
All that I was, all that I knew,
Fades into nothing as I pass through.

The dreams I chased, the lies I told,
Now crumble like dust, lifeless and cold.
I thought I was more, thought I’d stand tall,
But in the abyss, there’s nothing at all.

Each step I take, I sink deeper still,
The weight of regret, breaking my will.
The throne, the crown, the pride I wore,
Are lost in the void, forever no more.

I once believed I’d rise again,
But now I see, this is the end.
The abyss awaits, and so I fall,
No longer a ruler, no longer at all.

The silence is loud, the darkness wide,
I face the truth I can’t deny.
For in this abyss, I’ll find my fate,
With nothing left, the end awaits.
