Silent Descent

In silence, I fall, no sound, no cry,
A quiet descent through the endless sky.
No hands reach out, no voices call,
Just the stillness around me as I lose it all.

The throne of pride, a distant past,
Its grip on my soul could never last.
Now in the dark, I drift away,
No light remains to guide my way.

I once stood tall, I once had power,
But arrogance crumbled in its final hour.
Now I descend, with no control,
A broken man with a shattered soul.

The silence is heavy, the air is cold,
As the abyss takes everything I hold.
No echoes of arrogance, no cries of pride,
Just the quiet truth I can’t hide.

Each breath is shallow, each thought unclear,
I’m falling deeper, consumed by fear.
But even fear begins to fade,
As I surrender to the void I’ve made.

No more resistance, no more fight,
Just the endless fall into the night.
The world above, so far away,
And in this descent, I’ve lost my way.

I close my eyes, I let go at last,
Of all the dreams, of all the past.
For in this silent, final fall,
There’s nothing left of me at all.
