━ gulfclan territory

The cats of GulfClan make their home in the rocky shore cliffs of the gulf.   Their territory spans along the length of the cliffs and into the waters that extend from them.   They may hunt along the tops of the cliffs but remain on the rocky grounds rather than the ash-scorched earth of EruptClan territory.

These cats make their camp in a network of tunnels carved inside of the cliffs, and the only way to access the camp is by walking along the edges of the cliffs with the sea crashing below.   The camp is one singular main chamber that branches off into smaller chambers that function as dens.

     The LEADER'S DEN is the smallest and northernmost chamber of the tunnel, located directly across the main cave from the entrance.   GulfClan's leader will most often sleep here and then make ceremonies from the small rock pile that is located on the left side of the entrance.

     The HEALER'S DEN is located on the other side of the rockpile to the left of the leader's den.   This den is wide, capable of holding around fifteen nests.   it is also the place where the largest pool of freshwater is located, meaning there is high traffic in and out as cats gather to collect water.

     The WARRIOR'S DEN is the largest den, taking up the entire right side of the main chamber.   It is accessible through a small tunnel that slopes downward before opening up into the main den.

     The APPRENTICE'S DEN is on the other side of the leader's den, a smaller cave that can fit about ten cats at a time, though it can possibly be dug out more if they have a surplus of apprentices.

     The NURSERY is next to the healer's den, so that travel between the two can be quick and efficient.  Queens may travel to the healers to get fresh water and also have access to herbs and emergency care just in case something goes wrong.

     The ELDER'S DEN is the den closest to the camp entrance, so they are the first to escape in case of a disaster.   They are also close to the nursery, so kits are able to visit and hear stories as they wish, without wandering too far from their parents.

GulfClan, like EruptClan, has a secondary camp in case disaster falls and the tunnels flood, a camp that is located up on the cliff top rather than inside.   Fortunately, this has only happened once in their history.
