🖤 Heeseung's POV

I walked into the classroom, nerves starting to settle in as I thought about the final grades coming out later. I sighed and made my way to my usual seat at the back. Sunoo caught my eye, chatting animatedly with Jungwon. I watched them for a second, feeling a little anxious. My eyes flickered around the room, but I kept coming back to Sunoo. He suddenly stood up and started walking over to me.

"Good morning, princess," I said casually when he sat beside me.

"Good morning, babe! I was-what?" He stopped mid-sentence, blinking at me. "What did you just call me?"

"Hmm?" I acted like I didn't know what he was talking about.

"You-you said 'Good morning, princess'?!"

"Yeah, why?"

"You're so-" he turned away, flustered, his cheeks just the slightest shade of pink. I couldn't help but laugh softly at how cute he looked.

"Anyways," he said, trying to change the subject, "no classes anymore, I guess. We just have to wait for graduation. I'm excited for our senior ball! I can't wait to pick out my outfit with Jungwon, and you too!" He smiled, his eyes sparkling at the thought.

I reached over and pinched his cheek lightly. "Yeah..."

"And I want ice cream later after class. Let's go, okay? Jungwon's coming too," he added, his voice light and happy.

"Okay, princess," I teased again.

"Wha-princess?!" He exclaimed, a mix of shock and amusement in his voice. "Stop it!" He pouted, crossing his arms in playful frustration, his lips curving into a small smile he couldn't hide. I giggled, watching him, glad the classroom wasn't too full yet, so I could enjoy this moment without anyone interrupting us.

I glanced at Sunoo's lips, the words between us lingering like a secret. Before I knew it, I leaned in and pressed my lips to his, gently at first, but letting it linger longer than I meant to. Sunoo smiled against the kiss, his warmth spilling into mine like a soft light. When I pulled away, his eyes were bright, like he was still smiling from the inside.

But then, a voice cut through the quiet space we had created.

"You guys do know we're here, right?!" one of our classmates called out, clearly amused but making no effort to hide the fact that we had an audience.

Shit.

We both turned in unison, startled for a moment, and then looked at each other, trying not to laugh. Sunoo's cheeks were flushed, and I felt my own face heat up. His hand slipped into mine, and even though we were caught, the embarrassment didn't seem to break the comfort between us. If anything, it made it stronger, more real.

"Oops," Sunoo whispered, biting his lip to stop from laughing.

I squeezed his hand. "Maybe I shouldn't have kissed you in front of everyone..."

His eyes twinkled, the smile still playing at his lips. "Maybe... but I didn't mind." He leaned in just slightly, as if to say something more, but instead, he just rested his head on my shoulder, letting the moment stretch between us. It was so simple, yet it felt like we were the only ones in the room. I could still feel his smile against my skin, and even with the teasing glances from our classmates, it didn't matter.

"They're never gonna let us live this down, huh?" I murmured, my voice barely audible, only for him to hear.

"Nope," Sunoo replied, chuckling softly, his fingers gently brushing against mine. "But honestly... I don't care. Do you?"
