The next day, the common room was abuzz with activity as Albus, Faith, Lily, and James prepared for their important meeting. They had invited students from all four houses to gather in a secluded classroom to discuss the dark forces threatening Hogwarts.

Albus glanced at the clock, anxiety pooling in his stomach. "I hope everyone shows up," he said, nervously tapping his fingers against the table.

"They will," Faith reassured him. "This is bigger than house rivalries. They know it."

Lily nodded, adjusting her Gryffindor scarf. "We all want to protect our home. It's just going to take a little courage to set aside our differences."

James chuckled lightly. "Let's just hope the Slytherins remember their manners. You know how they can be."

As the hour approached, students began trickling into the classroom. Ravenclaws filed in first, led by the tall girl named Mariah, who carried an armful of books. Slytherins followed, with Scorpius at the forefront, his demeanor calm but focused. Finally, a group of Hufflepuffs shuffled in, their expressions curious yet apprehensive.

Albus stood at the front of the classroom, taking a deep breath as he surveyed the gathering. "Thank you all for coming," he said, his voice steadying. "We're facing a serious threat, and we need to work together to confront it."

Mariah stepped forward, adjusting her glasses. "We've all heard the rumors about the dark wizard, but what exactly do we know? What's our plan?"

"Right," James interjected, glancing at the parchment they had prepared. "We know the dark wizard is trying to revive the Serpent's Heart, an ancient relic that could give him immense power. Our goal is to gather information about this relic and the wizard's intentions."

Scorpius nodded, his expression serious. "We've heard tales in Slytherin about the Serpent's Heart being hidden somewhere within the school. But the location is a mystery."

Lily chimed in. "We need to research its history. That's where the Ravenclaws can help, right?"

Mariah grinned. "Absolutely! We can comb through the library and old records to find any mentions of the Serpent's Heart."

"Meanwhile, the Hufflepuffs can help with organizing our search efforts," Faith added, looking at the group. "If we're going to split up and gather information, we need someone coordinating everything."

A Hufflepuff named Rose raised her hand. "We're great at keeping things organized! We can make a schedule and ensure that everyone knows where to look."

"Perfect!" Albus replied, feeling a sense of optimism. "Now we just need to figure out who's going to take on the riskier tasks."

Breaking the Barriers

As they began discussing potential roles, the atmosphere in the room shifted. Several Slytherin students voiced concerns about cooperating with Gryffindor, bringing forth past rivalries and grievances.

"Why should we trust you?" a Slytherin boy named Malachi challenged. "Your house has always looked down on us."

Faith stepped forward, her voice firm. "We're not here to fight over house pride. This isn't about who's better; it's about protecting all of us. We're in this together, whether we like it or not."

Albus nodded, feeling a rush of support for Faith's words. "If we can put aside our differences, we'll stand a much better chance against whatever is coming. Dark magic doesn't care about house colors."

The room fell silent, and after a moment, Scorpius spoke up. "He's right. If we want to stop this dark wizard, we need to stand united. I'll talk to my fellow Slytherins and see if they're willing to cooperate."

Lily smiled, feeling the tension lift. "Then it's settled. We'll each take our tasks seriously, and we'll reconvene in three days to share what we've discovered."

As the meeting wrapped up, students mingled and exchanged ideas, forming tentative friendships across house lines. Albus felt a sense of pride as he watched the students work together, eager to take on the challenges ahead.

The Library's Secrets

In the following days, the library became the hub of activity for the group. The Ravenclaws scoured the shelves, unearthing dusty tomes, while the Hufflepuffs organized their findings. Faith joined Scorpius and a few other Slytherins, examining ancient scrolls in a corner of the library.

"Look at this," Scorpius said, pointing to a passage in an old book. "It mentions the Serpent's Heart as a powerful artifact that grants its wielder the ability to control serpents and manipulate dark magic."

"Control serpents?" Faith echoed, her eyes widening. "That could explain why the dark wizard wants it. If he can control magical creatures, he could cause chaos."

"We need to find out where it's hidden," Scorpius replied, flipping through the pages. "If it's still here at Hogwarts, we have to locate it before he does."

Just then, a familiar voice interrupted them. "What are you two up to?" It was Rose, the Hufflepuff girl, approaching with a stack of books.

"Just looking for clues about the Serpent's Heart," Faith said, sharing a glance with Scorpius. "We need to figure out its last known location."

Rose brightened. "I found some references to it in the restricted section. There are tales of students who encountered it in their dreams, leading them to hidden chambers within Hogwarts."

"Dreams?" Scorpius repeated, intrigued. "That sounds promising. Do you think we could access the restricted section?"

"Maybe if we speak to a professor," Faith suggested. "It's worth a try. We need every piece of information we can gather."
