Everyone brang in leaves and sticks to make shelter. Jen even brought water so Agatha could be hydrated after she wakes up. Teen never left her side, while everyone else talked around a bonfire.
"What do we do if she doesn't wake up?" Jen says.
"She will." Rio replies, nonchalantly.
"You seem to know everything about her, Rio" Lillia questions "Why is that?"
Rio doesn't answer, instead her face turns dark. Everything that happens goes through her mind and everyone simply stares at her. Pretending she's fine with everything in the road has taken a toll at her. She always liked to have fun, never being worried about anything. Well anything other than Agatha. When she found out that Wanda casted a spell upon Agatha, making her into to the nosy neighbour, Agnes, Rio debated wheter she should come, but ultimetly she was there every week as a detective. She wanted to see how Agatha was, if she is doing okay and stuff. She even tried a way to break the spell and when Teen appeared, Rio knew that ahe had to be there.
"Rio?" Lillia questions again.
"I just do." She replies, walking towards Teen and Agatha.
Teen looks up at Rio, his eyes watery and his face tired. He is all dirty from searching for wood and leaves.
Rio slowly walks towards him and sits near him. For a while they sit in silence, until Teen speaks up."Has this happened to her before? I mean she should've waken up by now." His voice laced with worry
Rio looks at Agatha for a second, deep in thought. She remembers the one time this happened, when Nicholas dissapeared. The accusations on Agatha that she sacrifised her own child for the darkhold were untrue. That accusation really hurt Harkness, she was never in acceptance of it. Years ago, when Nick dissapeared, she went into a similair spiral, passing out for days at a time. She was exhausted, not hydrated and overwhelmed. The pain of losing her own child was too much for her to bear. She never thought she could love anyone as much as she loved Rio.
Rio turns her head at Teen, seeing that he needs comforting.
"She will wake up soon, don't worry. This HAS happened before so I wouldn't worry too much." Rio replies coldly, her lips showing a hint of a smile.
They both say in silence for a while before Agatha starts moving. Everyone else hears the leaves rustle and rushes in. Rio is the first to help her up.
"Sweetheart, you okay?" Rio asks as Agatha looks around disoriented. It sesms that Agatha has no idea what's happening and why Rio is holding her. Rio's one hand is holding her and the other is places on Agatha's hand. As much as she would love to push her away, she doesn't have the energy, nor wants to.
"Uh, yeah, yeah I'm good. Um, what happened?" Agatha asks, trying to stay calm.
"You passed out again, like you used to." Rio says, her voice laced with worry. She helps Agatha sit and stands up herself, dragging her hand along Agatha's arm to show her affection.
"Oh, I see. Well no time to waste, the other trials await." She says quickly, trying to stand up.
"No way. We aren't going anywhere until you rested." Rio says angerly.
"The Salem Seven that you informed on me, are coming. So vámanos!" Agatha says, her cloak spinning around her as she starts marching down the road.
Rio smiles crazily at her, skipping through her step.
"She is definetly crazy, right?" Jen questions.
"Oh without a doubt, Jen. But I guess she cares about Agatha, so that's something." Lillia replies while laughing.
"She is hot though, if she wasn't crazy, I'd definetly ask for her number" Jen replies, with a smirk.
Rio hearing that, turned to them and growled, making them have the same reaction as before.
They all continued walking until they reached another trial. They walked to the house and look at each other. No one could figure out who's it was. The house that appeared looked a bit haunted. Agatha took the first step to open the door. She let everyone walk in first and then went herself. Everyone was dresses more or less like a kid princess but Lillia looked like the queen.
"Great, it's Lillia's trial. Sure as hell don't want to see this." Agatha said with hate in her voice.
Everyone ignored the last part but did see that it's Lillia's trial. Everything looked like it's a few centuries old and that isn't a suprise seeing as Lillia was born in the middle of 15th century. They all walked around quietly, trying not not touch anything.
"Okay, bitches, let's get this over with." Agatha says with a mysterious smile.
"Don't try to save Agatha" Lillia says, staring into nothing.
Everyone looks at her shocked, not knowing what to do. Lillia starts walking towards a table and pick up a reading ball. A timer starts.
"I think that means the trial has started." Rio says with a smile.
"Why are you smiling?" Jen asked, clearly scared.
"She's a tourist." Agatha replies.
"She's a psycho."
The trial starts and history repeats. The wind starts blowing, everything seems to feel lighter. Lillia starts floating and then...
