'Till The End (Agatha x Rio)

Innocent.

Wanda's look pierces through me, giving me chills. Her light green eyes staring me down. I have to admit - she scares me. Everything that happened in Westview scared me. Nothing ever felt so unreal after she "locked me up". I try to devert my fear in some hidden away box in my brain. To my suprise, it only becomes worse. It was clear that this was Wanda's doing.

"Okay, we don't need to take it this far, right? We are friends, Wanda. Or at least we can be." My voice giving away that I am nervous. "We are friends, Agatha." Her smile suddenly turns into a frown and a certain feeling creeps up on me. "Just not in this Universe because you decided to try and steal my power. You destroyed everything I had and now..." she pauses, her voice rough and daunting. I know exactly what she is about to say but I don't have enough strenght to say it myself so I simply mumble:

"Don't. It's me you want to torture so leave them alone, I know you have good in you." Tears start to appear in my eyes. Suddenly, it feels like my body is burning and for no good reason, seeing as Wanda is standing in place, staring at me with her mouth agape.

"Is the famous Agatha Harkness feeling scared of a mere witch?" Her voice lunatic. She has this crazy smile, that I'm so sure she used when she killed someone.

The whole room seems to start spinning, light dimming. No  one dares to move or utter a single word, not even a breath is heard. It's as if everything lost life in this moment. Isn't she supposed to be dead? Dead and buried? My mind running marathons, never making it to finish. I take another look at the room and see a terrified Billy. I don't make any moves but I feel him staring, waiting for me to say something. I can't. It feels like my privilage of talking has been taken away, troath closed up and every single reaction gone. My face lost color and I can feel myself getting weak in the knees, terrified of anything that's about to come.

"Me? As if." I gain confidence as I think of something. "You see, it's not by nature that I am walking the road today. Look at that boy, can't you sense him?" My smile is stupidly brave but I still go along with it. "Wh- what do you mean "sense him"?" she asks, her voice having her not long lost accent. The furrow in her brows give away her confusion and some fear? I don't know whether it is fear or not, but the thought makes me feel like I'm not so weak. I think about what to answer and after a few seconds I have a realisation that makes me laugh hysterically.

"Don't tell me that... you... lost your powers!" I can barely get that sentence out loud because my voice keeps breaking due to laughter. I see her expression change and that could only mean two things. She actually managed to do the impossible or I'm about to get blasted to the other side of the room.  Nope, I'm definetly dying, because her eyes turned red.

"I did not, but I lost yours. The darkhold doesn't exist anymore." Her voice nonchalant, without a single emotion. "Now, who are you, boy?" She looks at him, curiosity piercing through her eyes as though this was the most interesting thing she had ever witnessed.

"Hold up, what do you mean by "the darkhold doesn't exist anymore? That isn't possible." I say while trying to get a simple hold on this information.

"I destroyed it, along with myself. Or so everyone, including me, thought. At some point, not too long ago, I awoke here and here we are."

"You've got to be kidding me, you actually did the impossible?" I say with an amused smile. "How'd you do it, Wanda?"

"I tried to get my kids back and it went sideways. That's all you're getting." Her voice hoarse. I obviously somehow pushed a nerve. "Wanda, you've been looking in all the wrong places, now haven't you?" Her faces is turned blank, as if she was unable to move. "What do you know, Harkness?" Her powers started to shine in hands. Knowing her, soon it's going to be off with not only my head, but the whole covens.
