Adrian walked through the hallways of school, her heart pounding in her chest. It had been weeks since she’d spoken to Sasha or louren and even longer since she’d really been present with any of her friends. The isolation she’d fallen into was heavy, but after having time to reflect, she knew she needed them now more than ever.
