*Friday morning...*
The spirit spent time in the living room and watched tv to find some cartoons on. He loved those and his favorites were especially action cartoons with violence or superhero stuff. On TV was the cartoon Justice League and it was an all day marathon of superhero shows. The spirit was very excited to watch it.
Jay: "Yes I get to watch superheros all day. Yay!" He cheered.
The Kuriboh haired boy could hear the spirit's excitement from the other room. He came out of his room to see what his other half was up to.
Jaden: "Hey. You found a cartoon to watch?" He leaned over the couch.
The spirit jumped and was caught off guard by the Kuriboh haired boy's sudden appearance.
Jay: "Oh my god. Jaden, you scared the crap out of me." He groaned.
Jaden: "Whoops sorry, buddy. I guess even spirits can get a little jumpy." He laughed.
Jay: "Hey I told you that I'm a special case." He huffed.
Jaden: "Right. So what are you watching, Jay?" He looked at the tv.
Jay: "Justice League." He smiled.
Jaden: "Of course you're watching superhero cartoons." He rolled his eyes.
The spirit felt offended by those words.
Jay: "What, I like them! I happen to think that heroes are super cool." He argued.
Jaden: "Hence why we have an elemental hero themed deck." He added.
Jay: "Exactly. Hmph cause whatever you watch is boring." He turned around and then faced the tv with a smirk.
Jaden: "Hey that's not true. I just watch mature shows." He hopped over the couch and sat down next to the spirit.
Jay: "You call Robot chicken, the Simpsons, and American Dad mature?" He tilted his head slightly toward his friend.
Jaden: "Yeah." He leaned back against the couch.
Jay: "But it's animation so it's for kids." He turned up the volume with the tv remote.
Jaden: "What? No it's not." He retorted.
Jay: "Yes it is." He smiled and opened the channel guide on the tv, scrolling through channels and found the Simpsons.
Jaden: "No it's not. Just because it's animation doesn't mean it's for kids. Adult animation exists, Jay." He grabbed the tv remote and exited from the channel guide.
Jay: "Then why can't I watch it?" He raised an eyebrow.
Jaden: "Because you're not a grownup. Some stuff in these shows can be pretty messed up." He warned.
Jay: "No. I think you're just lying about that stuff so I can't watch it." He tried to change the channel.
Jaden: "If I were lying about it, I wouldn't be changing the channel whenever we watch tv together." He grabbed the remote and tried to stop him.
Jay: "Jaden... stop babying me!" He pulled on the remote.
Jaden: "So wanting to protect your innocence is babying you?" He pulled back on the tv remote.
Jay: "Yes! And I bet you just want all those cool shows to yourself." He wasn't letting go of the remote.
Jaden: "You're just not old enough to watch those shows. I'm sorry, buddy." He took the tv remote and got rid of the channel guide, placing it on the coffee table.
