FOREVER WITH YOU

Accidental Encounter

The next day......

RH Corporation, office of the chief executive officer (CEO).

Rayyan featured stylish fixtures, radiated elegance luxury extravagant to the core.

Secretary Maryam knocked before entering Rayyan's office.

"President Rayyan."

Rayyan, seated in his luxurious office chair, seemed imposing even in repose. His broad shoulders and chiseled features accentuated his commanding presence. Despite being seated, his muscular build commanded attention.

His eyes scanned the document intently.

Secretary Maryam walked towards him her head  bowed slightly. "Yes, Sir?"

"Cancel today's meeting," Rayyan said.
He lowered his head after instructing her and continued reading the document.

Secretary Maryam replied earnestly, "Understood."

As she turned to leave, Rayyan called, "Secretary Maryam."

Maryam paused, turning back. "Yes president?"

"Get me a coffee with minimal sugar."

Maryam nodded, her expression obedient. Her heels clicked softly as she departed, closing the door behind her.

Two minutes passed. Suddenly Rayyan called out.

Maryam  had just finished brewing some coffee and was about to bring it to the CEO's office when she heard Rayyan's voice.

She entered without knocking and swiftly moved to his side. "Yes, Sir?" she asked, serving him coffee with both hands.

As she handed him the cup, She inspected him swiftly and came to a conclusion. her boss was furious right now.  However, she was used to him pulling a long face in the morning.

Rayyan's irritation lingered from Amra's relentless declarations of love had once again tested his patience.

Without thinking, she reached out and gently grasped his hand. "You're troubled, President Rayyan, let me help you." she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper.

His brow furrowed, and looked up, "Are you stupid? He asked gruffly. "You're such a lewd woman." His eyes turned fierce with rage.

Maryam's heart skipped a beat, but she didn't let go.

Rayyan noticed her cheeks puffing up. His rage boiling over, he grabbed the cup of coffee and forcefully spilled its contents.

The coffee splattered across the table and unfortunately, Maryam's white shirt and legs were splattered with coffee too. She swiftly let go his hand and frowned.

Rayyan angrily threw the cup to the floor and yelled, "You're suspended, effective immediately! Get out of my office!"

The coffee had been served immediately after being brewed. It was no doubt boiling hot.

Secretary Maryam felt ashamed, her eyes Welled up with tears as she glanced at him 'I'm so sor--" she began, but he cut her off.

And shouted "GET OUT"

Maryam was scared out of her wits, so she immediately turned and fled.

She had finally understood certain principles, and that was: never fall for someone who doesn't love you back. The harder you fall, the more their indifference turns to hurt.

He rushed to the office toilet, he washed his hands repeatedly, as if trying to scrub away the disgust he felt after Maryam's touch.
