Tasleem was on the king sized bed. She lay on her stomach, coincidentally, she doesn't have class today and she had nothing to do. And to make it worse, she was on her period, she felt moody.

After their friends left the house last night, Rayyan seemed to vanish into thin air, she didn't bother to look for him, she wouldn't want to. Her mind was occupied with where to sleep and what to eat.

And she chose the bedroom that had been prepared for her, with a girls closet, obviously it's hers.

She ate the chicken that was left in the living room. After that, she did her usual night routine and drifted off to sleep.

Her phone rang!

She glanced at it and answered the call.

"Mrs. Rayyan, come and open the door for me, your breakfast is here." Amira said. Her voice laced with excitement, she couldn't wait to see Tasleem.

"Oh! I was starving, you know." Tasleem replied as she got up from the bed. She was starving since she woke up.

"I got you!" Amira reassured her. "And it's mostly your favourite, Ya Rayyan just had to manage." Amira giggled at the end of her words.

Tasleem laughed, as she made her way downstairs and headed to the door.

"Good morning sister-in-law. I missed you so much!" Amira said, she smiled and hugged Tasleem tightly.

Tasleem chuckled and hugged her back. "I missed you too but i-i can't breathe." She replied.

"Oh, sorry." Amira grinned, pulling away from her. "Help me with the containers." She said, The basket was filled to the brim with the food containers.

Tasleem picked the two of the containers, "How's Mamie?" She asked. It was just yesterday that she left but it feels like a year already.

"She's fine, but she looks sad, since her favourite child is married." Amira replied.

Tasleem looked at Amira, she couldn't hide the sadness in her eyes, she missed Mamie as well. She looked down at the containers in her hand.

They went to the dining area.

Amira started taking out the dishes one by one from the basket. "I missed you so much last night, it was hard for me to sleep by myself. And you cuddled with your hubby. Throughout the night." She giggled. "Anyways, you're looking breathtakingly beautiful." She paused and asked, "So, how did you feel?" she sat down beside Tasleem.

Tasleem started eating. "Um? Normal, am I supposed to feel anything?" She asked, as she stuffed the fries Into her mouth.

"You know, after being married, this is your first day." Amira seriously replied.

Tasleem rolled her eyes. "A week you mean."

Amira took a deep breath. "Let me tell you one thing, Tasleem." Amira said as she watched her eat.

"Yes, I know Ya Rayyan is cold and all, sometimes he can be harsh and doesn't like to be close to others, let alone express his emotions. He's an iceberg. But believe me, he's a good person. You have to be the hot son, shine on him, and melt him!"

Tasleem was speechless.

She was afraid she didn't have the ability. The point was, she didn't want to.

Not at all.

"He may look cold, but in fact, he's warm inside. It's not that he doesn't like you. Who wouldn't like a beauty like you. He's just shy." Amira said seriously.
