As Himadri was pulled back and slapped hard, she stood there shocked... not able to comprehend what happened when suddenly the same person who slapped her was now hugging her tightly and sobbing. It was Shivanya, she was shocked to see Himadri after 4 years and felt anger and longing for her.
"V-vaini, radu nako g! I-im sorry, me parat a-ale bagh..." Himadri spoke, stuttering as she was really scared of IPS Shivanya after receiving her slap. "Were you ever in your senses Himadri?! Atleast you should have picked up my calls! Do I look like a fool to you, callig you every single day for 4 years!!" Shivanya scolded her loudly.
(Sister-in-law don't cry! I'm sorry, see I'm back...)Himadri pulled Shivanya to the couch, making her sit down. "Shaant maate! Shaant!" Himadri said dramatically while wiping her tears. Shivanya just hugged her tightly scolding her more, "Kalat nahi ka tula pan? I've already lost your brother, I almost lost you in these 4 years!!! Tula kahi zala asta tar kasa tond dakhavla asta tula dada la??" She cried, whacking her head.
(Don't you understand?
If something would've happened to you, how would've I faced your elder brother??)The mention of Shiwaik brought tears in Himadri’s eyes too. "Okay enough Vaini! Ali ahe na me ata... chal ata bas hey emotional hona! Me aaji la bhetun ale..." Himadri changed the topic which didn't go unnoticed by Shivanya but she just turned her face away not wanting to talk to her. As a habit in the past, Himadri kissed Shivanya's cheek and touched her feet.
(I'm back now na... now enough of being emotional! I'll go and meet grandma)Himadri left while Avyaan, just out from a nice bath saw Shivanya and rushed to her, touching her feet and then hugging her. "Vaini! Didu parat ali!!!" He chirped happily making her smile but he said something which made her realize the resentment he held for Himadri even now. "But- but I'm angry on her... and- and I will show that! I mean-"
(Sister-in-law, didu is back!!)He wanted to stay angry at Himadri, show her that he was hurt and wanted her to explain all her actions and make it up to him and Shivanya understood that very well. As a younger sister of Shiwalik's best friend, Advait, she also felt such kind of anger towards him when he left her alone for work trips eventhough he was just an year older than her. Here, it's been 4 years Avyaan has been away from both his siblings, it was as if he lost his parents for the second time.
"I understand everything bala and it's okay to be angry... it is very obvious for you to be angry and just because you acted all normal yesterday doesn't mean you're not angry or upset! You just wanted her at that moment forgetting everything, but now if you want you can show that hurt, disappointment and anger to her! She will take it because she knows it's her fault, no need to be guilty or hesitant for that Avyaan!" Shivanya explains softly.
While Shivanya and Avyaan were engaged in their talks, Himadri met her grandma and took a bath. Shivanya was already dressed in a beautiful kurti palazzo set so she decided to wear something traditional too and since Hiamdri is our dear marathi mulgi she was going to wear a saree. In the past, she really loved to get dressed by her dada and get her makeup done by her champ during such festivals.
Most of Himadri’s sarees were in Shiwalik's closet as he would always be the one to help her with that but in these 4 years, she pretty much learned everything which she was kept away from by her brothers. As she went to her brother's room, memories rushed in front of her eyes, how Avyaan and Himadri used to play here waiting for their brother, how they used to sleep here and mess up the bed purposely to annoy Shiwalik.
Everything came back to her, as tears gathered in her eyes. "D-dada? Ka sodun gelas re mala, tujha shivay kahich barobar hot nahiye life madhe! Sagla bigdat challay re... it's all my fault! If I would've stopped you that day, you would be here with us today! Shivanya vaini, she wouldn't have been so heartbroken! Advait dada... he has gotten so silent now and our little champ! He lived alone for 4 years all because of me! But what could I do? What would a 16year old girl do if her inappropriate photos were threatened to upload on internet if she didn't leave her family! It's you who taught me to never lose my self-respect no matter what right?"
(Brother? Why did you leave me, nothing is going right without you in life! Everything is getting ruined...)
