Himadri stood still on her place on seeing the man in front of her. The man she had come to receive was none other than her brother, Shiwalik.

She hadn't eaten anything since the morning as the family fasts on the day of Diwali and break it together during dinner and the shock she got right now stressed her as she felt dizzy and fell.

Alex or well, Shiwalik had his eyes on Himadri since the time he came out and rushed to her when he saw her falling down. She fell down, hitting her lower body hard on the floor by the time Shiwalik came to her side.

As Shiwalik held her, she just looked at him weakly and fainted not before whispering Dada. Shiwalik panicked and ordered his driver to take them to the hospital immediately.

Eventhough it was obvious for her to faint as she is fasting since morning and then this shock, it didn't hit his mind as even he was fasting and for more time due to the time differences, he was also feeling tired and weak after the travel.

In the hospital, they gave her glucose through saline and said Shiwalik can take her back home. On the other hand, Shivanya, Advait and Avyaan were worried at home because they didn't hear anything from Himadri as well as Advika since the time they left.

It was almost 9.30pm and Himadri still wasn't home. Shivanya was more frustrated than ever because she couldn't even do anything as an IPS. They couldn't file a missing complaint before 24 hours. She hated the laws more than anything right now.

After 30 minutes, the doorbell rang as Advait quickly opened the door and as he did, he stilled on his place along with Avyaan who saw the person at the door. It was Shiwalik who was supporting Himadri to walk in the house.

Shivanya, instead of panicking or freezing in shock, got to action and came on Himadri's other side providing her more support.

Eventhough Himadri was having no emotions on her face, she was overwhelmed but right now she felt her Aai-Baba were back in the form of her Dada and Vaini.

Himadri noticed how Shivanya was also shocked by seeing Shiwalik there after all the chaos back then but decided to look at her first who was not looking that well. Himadri noticed how Shivanya held her tears for her sake and felt thankful as well as guilty.

She snapped back to reality when Shiwalik gently picked her up to help her lay comfortably on bed and then went to her legs to remove her shoes. She immediately got up to stop him, she could never let her her brother or anyone touch her feet unless it's for taking blessings.

"Dada! Kay krtoys he?! Doka aptun alas ka kutha??? Me kadhte na swata majhe sandals. Tu Mala darwajyavar ach bolla astas... itha yeun he karaychi garaj nha-" Before Himadri could finish her ranting both Shiwalik and Shivanya hugged her tightly as they laughed out.
(Dada! What are you doing?! Have you got your head hit somewhere??? I'll remove my sandals myself. You should've told me near the door itself... you didn't have to do this aft-)

"Bass pillu! Kiti ragavnar Dada var... ata tr alay toh after so many years!!" Shivanya said gently still chuckling. Himadri got more frustrated due to her empty stomach. Eventhough she was given glucose, she still needed food or we can say दिवाळीचा फराळ.
(Enough child! How much will you scold him... he has came home after so many years!!)

"Really Vaini? Remember you slapped me when I returned, and you're taking his side now??" Himadri said looking damn serious and well she was. She was angry on her brother and Shivanya too. She felt she was being selfish by being angry on them but she didn't care.

When she needed her brother through all those anxiety attacks he was not there. Not once did anyone ask if she was mentally fine and here they were laughing at her. She couldn't scold her brother for coming after 4 years but she gets slapped and faced people's anger because she left.

She had reasons but no one asked. Everything started hitting her as her anxiety came up again. She was glad her brother was there but couldn't gather herself to tell him. "Ca-can you please go o-out?" She asked Shivanya as she did thinking the siblings might want time.

She stopped Advait and Avyaan who were going to go upstairs as she noticed Himadri's unusual behavior. She took the boys who were crying like anything in her embrace letting Himadri have time with Shiwalik and well yes once she meets him alone usko bhi maar aur daant milegi. Koi humari IPS Shivanya se nahi bachh sakta.

Himadri quickly scooted closer Shiwalik as she felt her anxiety rising. Eventhough she still gets chills even if she thinks she should tell her family the truth, she couldn't help but seek Shiwalik's comfort as anxiety rose like anything.

"D-dada!! I'm feeling anxious, I- I... help mee!!" Himadri cried seeking Shiwalik's embrace. Shiwalik,  who understood the reason, took her in his embrace hugging her tightly. "Calm down meri jaan!! I missed you Dri." He whispered softly as Himadri cried more.

"D-dada tu ka gelas... Avy ekta hota, Advait dada and Vaini ekti hoti." Shiwalik was stunned to hear Himadri scolding him for others and not herself. "Dri... I'm here now, don't worry pillu." He softly reassured knowing more than others, she was the one who needed him the most.
(W-why did you leave... Avy had no one, Advait dada and Vaini had no one.)

Shiwalik already had an idea about why Himadri left the house, in some or the other way he was responsible for it but Himadri came to attention making others think that his accident was Himadri's fault.

Almost 15 minutes later, Himadri had stopped crying and only her muffled sniffles were heard. She broke the hug and looked at Shiwalik with a smile. "Advait dada and Avy kade jaa, tyana pan khup athvan ali tujhi dada!!" She said as she pulled Shiwalik out to the living room with her.
(Go to the boys, they also missed you a lot!!)

Avyaan and Advait had the same reaction as Himadri. They hugged him, crying their hearts out. Himadri went and hugged Shivanya from behind who was admiring the three with tear filled eyes.

"Vaini... I know you missed him, I know you faced a lot after we left but couldn't show. Just a few moments more, pour all your emotions to each other." Himadri said hugging Shivanya's waist from behind.

Shivanya admired how Hiamdri always knew everything but also had the sense of when and where to speak. Right now, her words comforted Shivanya alot. She longed to hug Shiwalik but held herself for others.

All this had affected Shivanya too but never once she told that anyone of them. She spent her time in Shiwalik's room like Himadri whenever she felt she couldn't handle anymore.

His return marked a significant calmness in their lives but will it last? Will their happiness bloom again or problem with hunt them down? Will the past repeat itself?
