What to say about his friends.

Well he thinks back all those years ago.

Back when Gardenview was still running.

Back when he would say we're better times

Back when everyone was happy.

He was the one that new toons would meet first. He was that star after all, the face of Gardenview. At the time he didn't know how many toons were going to be made because at the time it was just him, Pebble, and Astro.

The first one was Vee.

When he was first introduced to her, he could tell that she didn't like him. The tv looked him up and down and immediately made her opinion on him.

"I don't like you."

"What?"

"I said I don't like you."

"Why?"

She never gave him an answer. She only turned to her handler and asked if she could leave. Dandy wonder what made her not like him. Since then he tried all he could to get Vee to like him.

He tried talking to her. She only ignored him.

He tried complaining her. She told him that he was gross.

He tried giving her a gift. She threw it in the trash.

He wonder what he did wrong because she seemed to get along with Astro, so why not him? He never knew until one day he saw her looking at a poster of him. Her hands were in fists and she looked angry. And then it hit him.

She was jealous of him.

She was jealous that he was the star and not her. She hated the fact that he was better than her. Well that wasn't fair it's not like he chose to be like this. He was just doing what the humans told him.

It took them awhile before they got along. Soon Vee just accepted the fact that her role wasn't going to change and that he would always be the star. Dandy was happy when she started talking to him and there were times when the two actually started to bond.

Next was Shelly.

She was way different than Vee. Shelly the moment she met the flower thought he was so cool. She was quite the curious type poking at his petals asking him all sorts of questions about him. At first he was a little bit overwhelmed by the shell's excitement.

Shelly's presence was an interesting one. She was very chatty and kind, she would treat everyday like it was the best. She'd took interest in dinosaurs and would talk about them any chance she got. She also got along with her handler. The two would give each other a hug when they saw each other. Dandy often saw the two have hour long conversations.

There were time some of the staff forgot that she existed. Shelly would say that she was fine and that sometimes people make mistakes. But Dandy knew it crushed her. So he'd vow to himself that he would always include her in everything he did.

And she was thankful for it.

And then there was Sprout.

He was something..... to say the least.

He kept his distance from the others.

When they met he gave a small hello to the flower and moved on. Dandy worried that it would be another Vee situation where the strawberry didn't like him just because he was the star of the show. But nope Sprout was like that with everyone. That wasn't to say that he was mean or cold towards everyone, he just was not that social.

Sprout took an interest in baking and cooking. He would make the employees snacks when they work and he'd make cupcakes for the other toons. But Dandy could tell he was a little lonely baking. So he came up with the idea of  asking Sprout to teach the others how to bake.

It didn't end well.......

And the kitchen Definitely did not end on fire.

And that was it. For a while it was just the six of them. Five toons and one pet rock, they were the main characters of the show. They were going to be the role models for future toons all eyes on them. They had to be perfect.

But mostly Dandy.

Dandy wonders how they're doing now. If they are what Astro is now.......do they even remember him? Do they remember themselves? The memories that they made over the years..... gone?

Just like that?

He try's his best not to think about it.
