Astro stood in the kitchen tail flicking back and forth, he was looking at something called a cook book trying to find the recipe for soup.

Dandy was sick today. This morning Astro woke up to find the flower looking off into the distance. His eyes were a bright ruby red and when Astro called his name he got no response. The moon had to shake the flower to snap him out of it his eyes turning back into the normal color it was before. (Which was black)

"Are you okay? you were not responding to me..."

"Hm? Oh yeah I'm fine it just happens to me sometimes."

The flower put a hand to his head.

"Though this headache is new...."

"Are you sick?"

"I'm not sure....."

"Then get some rest. I'll look after you!"

Dandy blinked, did Astro even know how to look after a sick person? But the moon insisted that he could do it.

After getting Dandy to sleep Astro tried to think of what he should do when someone was sick......

Soon a memory came back to him.......

Astro sneezed.

He was lying in his bed with three layers of blankets on him. The moon had caught a cold and was told to stay in his room until he felt better. Not many people came to check up on him.

Shelly came in to tell him how the day went, Tisha came in to give him more tissues ( not the ones from her head.), and Vee came in to ask what was it like to get sick. She is a machine after all.

Soon he heard a knock on his door.

"It's open." He said, he heard a small bark and saw Pebble the rock pup waddle in. Behind him was Dandy holding a bowl of soup.

"Hey....how are you feeling buddy?"

"Could be worse...."

"I brought some soup that Sprout made."

"Thanks..."

Dandy handed him the soup. He made sure to take small sips as it was very hot but it was very good. Sprouts cooking was the best.

Pebble jump onto the bed trying to get a lick of soup as well but was caught by Dandy who scoped him up.

"No Pebble that's for Astro not you. Silly puppy."

Astro gave a small laugh.........

Astro snapped out of his thoughts. Ah so that's how you take care of someone. He was glad that he was able to remember something about his past. Some names and faces, he recognized Dandy of course but he also recognized the Tv and shell he saw them a few times back when he wander the levels. He never went near them as they were both more aggressive than him and could easily beat him in a fight. But it was nice to know their names now.

Which leads up back to now. Back in the kitchen with the cook book. Astro soon realized that he doesn't know how to cook. He tried looking for the ingredients that the book said they needed but the cabinets were almost completely empty.

Like they haven't had food in them for years.......

Astro frowned, just how long has he been wandering around for....he didn't know the time or even knew what time was back then......

That's not important now. Right now he's going to have to tell Dandy that he can't make anything for him right now.

When he got back to the room Dandy was awake on one of the bean bags reading a book. Dandy looked up at him.

"Hey Astro my headache went away so I guess I'm not sick."

"Why is there no food in the cabinets?"

".....because this place hasn't been open in awhile..."

"What happened?"

"I'm not sure. Every time when I try to remember what happened all I get is a blur. I doubt that you know what happened...."

The two stayed silent for a moment before Astro spoke.

"What are you reading?"

"Oh just a book Brightny gave me a long time ago.....you know you were in a book club with her."

"A book club...?"

"Yeah! You, Brightny and Dazzle were like the book trio. You guys would read books together once a week. You loved it...... you do remember how to read right?"

"A little...."    (Maybe it was a good thing he didn't try and make soup)

"Hey I can read for you if you want?"

"....that sounds nice"

The moon sat down next to Dandy and listened carefully as he read.

Maybe he should try to remember how to read....
