"Lan Zhan? You came, now what are you doing here?"

His golden eyes looked to him, it seemed discolored as he stared at him. For some reason the hairs of his skin rose up when the Jade Twin turned his full body to face his own.

"I thought you would leave me forever. It may seem crazy but,"

His fingers brushed the hair behind his air, a calming mechanism he seemed to have when nervous or anxious.

"What Wen Chao said was false. I never sent or conspired with them. I don't have the Yin metal, never had it to begin with."

He was rambling on, trying to apologize for something he didn't even do or was in possession for.

"You come to lie to me, after everything?"

He spoke, voice devoid of emotions, eyes chilling and giving a faint glow Wei Ying didn't know was possible.

"I'm not lying. I'm being true with you Lan Zhan. You know me better than anyone I'll do something like that,"

"Liar. You know better than to lie to me."

"I'm not lying! I'm telling the truth. I didn't do as I said!"

"You were there when they destroyed my home Wei Wuxian!"

His voice was loud. Never had he heard such a tone from the Jade Twin. Never had he heard him yell at him. It used to be a scolding tone now he felt nothing but rage off of the one in white.

"Everything burned! You stood there and watched it burn! It is your fault, bring the Wen Clan to our home. I lost my birth place, my home because of you.."

Wei ying's mouth went parched, his body felt in pain as tears began to fill his eyes.

"I didn't.."

"The traitor is here?"

He turned as now saw Jiang Cheng stalking him from behind, his eyes drilling into his coreless body.

"Had fun destroying my life. My A-die should have left you to rot. Maybe we wouldn't have been here."

He spat so venomously, finding his place beside Lan Wangji.

"Burned my home down. Why didn't you just give them what they wanted?"

Wei Ying frowned deeper.

"I don't have anything they want!"

"What are you talking about? It's in your possession now."

Jiang Cheng pointed at him making Wei Ying look into his hands. Within it was the weapon. It's metal cold in his palms, it glowed dark red, filled with resent energy. Wei ying panicked, his hands shaking as he dropped it.

The floor below him rippled like water, the void shaking and he panicked more.

"Stupid. Lying when it's all true. You've killed everyone there. The blood is on your hands for all those we lost!"
