"After someone joins your club, they can enter your world, fighting other people on live TV in your world, The only job is to fight, am I right?" The lady asked, making the man chuckle.
"That's correct my Dear, but if you know all about the rules of joining... Then you must know the deal, correct?" He asked in an ominous tone, but the woman remained calm and composed.
"The deal, you quit, you lose everything, money, fame, and your life..." She said in a composed tone.
"Indeed, so now..." The man said as he stuck his hand out and his eyes glowed. "You can keep your life the way it is because once you shake my hand, there's no turning back... Until you finally call it quits... So... Deal or No Deal?" He asked one final time.
The woman grabbed his hand, giving him the answer, causing the pair to vanish in a flash. The woman found herself looking around, seeing them traveling to a new plain.
"So Pomni, what drove you to want to accept this deal?" The man asked.
"Why..." Pomni uttered as she looked forward with an angered look on her face. "I have an old debt to settle..." Hearing that, the man chuckled.
"Interesting indeed." The man said as he placed his arms behind him.
"Wait, how did you know my name? I never told you." She asked.
"Simple my dear, once I make physical contact with your hand, it gives me all the information about you, your life, you as a child... And conveniently, the person who you wish you to settle the debt with... Is a part of the club." The man said, quickly gaining Pomni's full attention.
"You serious!?" She questioned with such curiosity.
"Not only that, but they are the most disliked person among the group, I cannot deny that I even find him quite a nuisance."
"Is that so?" Pomni said to herself, making the man smile.
Just then the man snapped his fingers, causing a screen to appear in front of Pomni's face. She looked at the screen, her eyes widening as she did.
Ragatha "The only human still stuck in the rookie rank, Ragatha is a bit too kind for this line of work! A heavy hitter, but too soft for her good, Lil' Lady is a strength-based brawler." Pomni read.
"That Lil Lady has so much strength, but her kind heart is her only flaw." The man said as Pomni swiped the screen, seeing another person.
Jax "Pompous, cocky, and far too confident, Jax - or Jackrabbit - is the grand champion of the Fight Club... though many speculate if it's deserved. Envied by everyone beneath him, bolstered by a far too manipulative managing team, he manages these efforts through pure, filthy cheating." Pomni read, feeling a sense of something odd in her body.
"Sir... Is this person..." Pomni uttered once more as her voice turned monotone.
"Why yes my dear... Jax..." The man said, causing Pomni's hands to ball up. "And from what I got from your memories, he had quite an impact on your life." He stated. Pomni remained silent as she went by to read more.
