Ninjago Headcanons and Oneshots

A good friend

A oneshot of Sora thinking Cole is a good friend, and it is his birthday. ( Sorry if it's not what you wanted, @Dnyacats, but I tried to make it work!) 

Also, Btw, It's an au where it's after DR S2 P2 but Jay and Arin are back

" So, tomorrow is Cole's birthday, anyone have any ideas? We'll start from Sora." Jay said. Sora froze. What was she supposed to say? Suddenly, her mind thought back to a day where Lloyd told her that Cole loved cake, so she blurted out," Cake!" 

Nya frowned. " Yeah, Cole loves cake, but he has quite a big appetite, so I'm not sure if cake can be all the birthday food. Plus, Kai, Lloyd, Zane, Jay and I all know, as once, we didn't get enough food for him, so he started chasing the chicken Master Wu kept all around the Monastery." 

Kai added," How about you and a few others find other things he likes. It'll be a challenge for you, Sora." Sora frowned.

 Should I? I don't really know him that well.

Then, her mind raced back to a few days ago, were Cole had been a good friend.

< Flashback> 

" Whoo hoo!" Sora cried. She, Arin, Kai and Cole were playing catch around the monastery. Kai and Cole were on one team while she and Arin were on another. Sora looked around when Kai had caught Arin and had seen Cole gaining on her. She ran for her life and out of the gates and onto the rocks surrounding the Monastery. Cole shouted,

" No! Sora, don't go there! It's dangerous!"

Too late. Sora was now hanging on the edge of a cliff, and her fingers were slipping. Before she fell, though, a hand got her. It was Cole. The earth ninja pulled the teenage girl up. " Thanks, Cole. I owe you one." Sora gasped. Cole said with a smile," Well, what are friends for?"

Sora smiles. She's made up her mind. She would find more foods that Cole liked. After she left the room, she went to find Wyldfyre and Arin. The two of them were planning a trick to play on Kai. " Hey, guys! I need your help with something! Can you help me?" Arin looks up. " What for?" Sora answers," I need help finding foods that Cole likes for his birthday. I already know one, cake, but I need more." Wyldfyre says," Then let's go to the crossroads, there's sure to be something Cole likes." Arin says," I know! Crossroads noodles mixed with noodles from Chen's noodle house! Remember?" Sora chuckles at the thought of the day of the noodle cook off, and them coming back with noodles on their hair. " Let's go then."

At the crossroads, Sora says to the other two," Ok, Arin, since you're from Ninjago, you know the place better. So, you go find some Chen noodles. Me and Wyldfyre will look around the crossroads." Arin nods his head and runs away. 

Wyldfyre gasps. " Hey Sora, can that work?" She was pointing to a booth selling chocolate waffles. They had just finished buying crossroads noodles and were looking around when the red-head spotted the waffles. Sora grins. Perfect. " Maybe we can get Arin to bake some pies too!" The pink haired girl said. They bought the waffles and head home, where Arin was waiting. After they got home, and told Arin to bake pies, which the boy went to do, the two girls walked into the living room, where Kai, Lloyd, Nya and Zane were hanging decorations and setting the table. They looked up when the two entered. Nya exclaimed," Hey Sora! I see that you've bought noodles, cake and waffles!" Lloyd asks," Will that be enough?" Sora grins and puts down the groceries, saying, " Oh, we also asked Arin to bake pies. Hey, where's Jay?" Zane answers," With Cole, keeping him busy." Wyldfyre runs to the door, after hearing a knock. She opened it and Arin came in, holding some pies. Wyldfyre exclaims," Ooh, pie!" Arin grunts, and the pies were quite heavy," Yep. And I just saw Cole and Jay. They're coming." Everyone gasps, then Wyldfyre, Kai, Nya, Sora and Lloyd hide while Zane and Arin set down the pies. Then, they hide.

A few moments later, the sound of surprise, cheering, laughter and songs filled the monastery, with squeals of delight coming from a certain earth ninja.
