An oneshot where during the world ending mergequake, before Lloyd stabilized the world, Arin got lost in the merge and lost his memories, and Ras uses him as a warrior in the wolf clan.

Sora's Pov
" Arin! Nooo!" I shouted. My best friend was being sucked into the Merge quake, right before Lloyd stabilized the world. However, when people started appearing out of nowhere, I hoped for Arin to appear, but no, no sight of him, even after Kai, Wyldfyre and Riyu fell down onto Lloyd. I felt tears in my eyes. My first best friend. My mech racer buddy. Disappeared into the Merged Realms. Nya put an arm around me, seeing that Wyldfyre had tackled Kai into a dragon hug. Riyu was nudging my feet, clearly saddened by his friend's disappearance. I sobbed. Arin was gone. Maybe even gone forever. But he was the one who told me that hope was the only thing the merge can't take from anyone, so I guessed that I had to hope for the best. But now, even I can't think positively anymore.
Many days later, the ninja and I found ourselves at the cloud kingdom, facing off against Ras's team, after a warning from Euphrasia. We were winning, until someone in an orange hoodie came out from behind Ras. I gasped. It couldn't be. " Arin?" I choked out a sob. His face displayed a confused look. " Excuse me, but who are you?" No. No, it couldn't have. My eyes filled with tears as I shouted," Arin! Don't you remember me? You know, the girl who likes inventing, pink, has an obsession with cats for some reason? Comes from Imperium?" His face showed no signs of recognisation. I turned. I didn't want to be here anymore. I took one last look at Ras's team. Ras was smirking, while Cinder was grinning. Jordana smiled. I guess she liked seeing me upset. However, Arin's face showed a pang of guilt. It was almost as if his memories were coming back. But that won't happen in such a short time. My best friend has lost his memories, and there was nothing I could do.
