First two chapters are kinda prologue, from the future. Rest of the chapters are in present.

We will move forward in the present to finally reach the part where they get married.

A few chapters will be from past in italic font.

I hope the confusion is clear now✨

"Such a hotty!" Laila expressed her thoughts to her girlfriends.

"Why don't you just go to him and tell him how much you like him" Bahameen suggested with a cunning smile and took a sip of her drink.

"Should I?" Laila asked her seriously.

"He is going to roast you Laila! Stop this madness" Aina interfered.

"I ain't a chicken Aina!" Laila glared at her.

"You are a hot chick" Bahameen winked at her.

"No one can resist me" Laila was nothing but confident in her beauty.

"What do you think? He is going to fall head over heels with you" She asked smilingly.

"Why won't he?" Laila asked.

"He is yours ma'am. Go ahead" She smirked once again and gave her way to try her luck.

Ghazan just excused himself from the group of men and women he was talking to. He was walking to the balcony to get some fresh air. The loud music and glamorous evening wasn't his cup of tea.

"Hey handsome" He heard a woman's voice. He looked around there wasn't a man anywhere around him so only he could be the one.

Not again. He muttered under his breath.

He turned around and found a woman standing right behind him. She passed him a sophisticated smile.

"Did you just call me?" He asked her seriously.

"Do you have any doubts" She said to him.

He stared at her silently.

"Not a single man under this roof is as charismatic as you" Laila passed him a sultry smile.

Ghazan gazed her from head to toe. She was undoubtedly looking enchanting in a red gown but her beauty didn't affect him. He wasn't impressed with her nor he was interested to get into anything with her.

And he could recognize her now. She was one of the closest friends of Bahameen.

"Not interested" He said with a stern face.

"Why not handsome?" Laila raised her eyebrows.

"I am not answerable to you" He took a step forward, leaving the woman shocked.

"He is damn rude" Laila muttered to the group of girls, standing right behind the spot she tried to flirt with Ghazan.

"As if you weren't warned" Bahameen smirked. She kinda enjoyed the scene happened in front of her eyes.

Typical Ghazan's behavior. Arrogance and Rudeness combined together.

"You were right. He is so arrogant" Laila told her with a hint of anger in her voice. No one wants to be embarrassed just she was a minute ago.

"And a prude" Bahameen muttered.

"I trust you now" Laila stared at him, who was talking with a man of his age.

Bahameen glanced him and at the same time his eyes fell at her. Their gaze met and something exploded in Bahameen's heart.

Ghazan Ali wasn't just arrogant. He was devilishly handsome. Bahameen Haider liked beauty in all aspects of life and he was no exception. He was someone she could never ignore even if she tried hard every time.

He turned his face to the other side and disappeared into the balcony.

"I hate such men" Laila was still busy mentioning him.

"So do I" She said more like to remind herself that she hated him.

Outside in the fresh air, Ghazan felt the relief from the fake world he was part of, just a few minutes ago. He hated such gatherings but due to his business he had to present there even if he hated it.

Inside the hall cream of the city was present. Two faced people with huge bank balances. He wasn't a part of them but he was among them.

He turned his head around and his gaze fell at the group of Bahameen. Her four girlfriends and two boyfriends. One of the boy, was holding Bahameen's waist. He was saying something to her which made her laugh. She slapped his chest and in the reaction he teased her by squeezing her waist.

Ghazan averted his gaze, he couldn't look at her anymore.

He never understood why these people couldn't maintain a healthy distance between them. They were far away from their religious and cultural values. Being a part of the high class, Ghazan stayed away from this modernized society.

He joined the party once his mind was clear.

"Here is my son" Ahmed Gardezi smiled at him as he approached him. Ghazan held his hand and passed him a soft smile.

"He is my pride, my dearest boy!" Ahmed was introducing him to a group of people in a loving manner.

Ghazan had a softest smile on his face.

Bahameen saw this scene with hatred in her eyes. She wanted to push him away from her father like always.
