"What the hell, Kuya?! Hindi mo ba nakikitang naglalabas ako ng galit?! Get out of my sight kung ayaw mong pasabugin ko ang bungo mo!" Aurora screamed, her voice echoing around the estate as she aimed her shotgun directly at her brother. Galvan's eyes widened, but the fury in his heart matched hers.
"Sige! Maglabasan tayo ng galit, Aurora. Bakit mo binalik si Rebecca sa mental health facility?!" his shout was powerful enough to momentarily stopped Aurora in her tracks. The accusation hung heavily between them, and he glared at Jericho, who stood frozen behind Galvan. "Hindi ka makasagot?"
Aurora's mind raced, filled with memories of Rebecca's struggles, the heartbreaking decisions she'd had to make. "And why do you care?! Mahalaga lang si Rebecca sa'yo because of her shares! Ako lang, Kuya! Ako lang ang totoong may pake sa pamangkin ko!"
Galvan's expression hardened. "Hindi totoo 'yan! Bawiin mo ang sinabi mo!" agad na binawi ni Galvan ang shotgun na hawak ni Aurora bago iyon ibato sa malayo.
"Wala kang pake kay Rebecca o kahit kanino! All you care about is your fucking inheritance! You know what?! Sana hindi na lang kita naging kapatid—" before she could finish, Galvan's hand shot out, landing a heavy slap across her cheek.
The impact sent her stumbling back, pain radiating through her face as she instinctively cupped her cheek. She glanced up at him, shocked. His expression was a mixture of rage and hurt, his breath coming in heavy bursts.
"Fuck you! How dare you say that?!"
In a blind fury, he walked toward her, grabbing her by the collar and pulling her close. Aurora's heart pounded in her chest; she struggled for air as panic set in.
"Sir! Sir! Tama na 'yan! Sir!" Jericho shouted, rushing forward to intervene but Galvan, fueled by anger, pushed him aside without a second thought.
The scene unfolded in a blur as Galvan pushed Aurora to the ground, his grip pressing into her neck, squeezing tighter around her throat. Aurora's vision blurred as she gasped for breath, fear clawing at her insides.
"K-kuya..." she managed to speak, her eyes pleading with him to stop.
Galvan felt the ground in no time as he was knocked out of his lungs by Amando's brutal kick to his back. He attempted to rise, but another sharp kick landed squarely in his stomach, causing the world to spin and his strength to weaken.
"W-why are you—" his voice faltered as a heavy fist collided with his jaw, and the metallic taste of blood filled his mouth.
Galvan's vision blurred, each punch from Amando adding to his disorientation, making it increasingly difficult to hold onto consciousness.
His expression was cold and void of emotion, a disturbing calmness enveloping him as he blows upon Galvan. Each strike felt like a hammer pounding against glass, shattering any remnants of resistance within Galvan.
"A-amando!" Aurora's voice pierced through the chaos, filled with desperation as she called out to him.
But Amando seemed lost in a world of his own, deaf to her cries. She took a hesitant step forward, but Jericho swiftly intervened, gently pulling her back from the mess. "Amando, tama na!"
Jericho called for the other staff members, but despite the urgency of the situation, no one dared to intervene. The fear of Amando's wrath loomed larger than their concern for Galvan's well-being.
