Tessa finds herself distressed as the people closest to her are being assassinated for the destruction of Miraé group. Amongst the chaos, she finds a ray of hope, ending her darkest nights.
But the truth might just pull them apart......
The next day, Tessa regained consciousness to find her family and loved ones standing teary eyed as they gathered around her bed.
"I am fine dad.", she said as she held Theodore's hands.
"Who was it? Why is he harming my family!" Theodore exclaimed
"Everything's going to be okay." Tessa's mother comforted her husband
Tessa was lost in her thoughts until Theodore asked, "What is it Tessa?"
"Dad I - I saw half of his face-", Tessa was interrupted by Azriel who was informed by Karri that she had regained consciousness.
"That is excellent! We can help the police in finding the culprit", Azriel said as soon as he entered the hospital room.
"Yes but that wasn't his real face, I saw his mask peeling off as he left." Tessa explained.
"You just have to focus on your health right now. Your wound is pretty deep, it will take time and effort to heal", said Leo who was also in the room.
Tessa nodded.
Azriel signaled Theodore to meet him outside which was noticed by almost everyone.
"I am ready to marry her for the sake of her safety", Azriel said.
"You won't regret your decision, will you?"
"No"
Theodore felt happy hearing that.
"Do you agree that you are in love?" Karri asked Azriel just as Theodore walked away from there.
Azriel smiled at Karri. That was enough for Karri to get her answer.
Tessa's parents wanted to get her married at the earliest so the wedding preparations began right after she got discharged.
No one realised how fast time flew by. It was their wedding day.
Karri and others were helping Tessa get ready for the ceremony when Theodore entered.

He looked at his little girl in a white gown and his eyes numbed.
"Are you ready for this?", he asked Tessa
"Hm"
"Let's do it then.", he held out his hand.
Tessa grabbed his hand and got up. They walked up to the wedding venue.
The evening sun casted a golden glow over the serene garden. Rows of chairs were draped in delicate white fabric.
Guests were murmuring softly among themselves about the union they were about to witness.
Azriel stood tall in a sleek black suit his eyes meeting Tessa's as she walked down the aisle. She looked breathtaking in a simple, elegant dress. The breeze that toyed with her veil. But beneath the polished exterior, neither heart pounded with love.
The officiant then signaled Azriel to start with his vows.
"I Azriel, take you, Tessa to be my wife. I vow to stand beside you as we build the future we've both envisioned." Azriel started, "To respect you, to trust you, and to honor the life we'll create together. I promise to be loyal, not just to you, but to our shared goals, and to support you, as we become stronger together." Azriel smiled
There was a slight applause, then it was Tessa's turn.
"I Tessa, choose you to be my husband. I am proud to be your wife and to join my life with yours. I vow to support you, inspire you, and love you always. For as long as we both shall live, I will be by your side-for better or worse, in sickness and health, for richer or poorer. You are my one and only today and every day." Tessa smiled.
"With both of your vows said, I now declare you both as husband and wife.", the officiant declared.
All the guests had a smile on their face as they clapped.
"You may now kiss the bride", the officiant said
Azriel leaned in, and the newlyweds shared a kiss-short, more for the benefit of those watching than for themselves.

As they turned to face their guests, the crowd cheered, believing they had witnessed love. Only the two of them knew it was something else entirely.
