Tessa finds herself distressed as the people closest to her are being assassinated for the destruction of Miraé group. Amongst the chaos, she finds a ray of hope, ending her darkest nights.
But the truth might just pull them apart......
A few months passed in joyful peace. Then one night Tessa's water broke.
The couple rushed into the hospital. Azriel, overly excited, kept shouting, “We’re having a baby!” while the nurses tried to calm him down.
Meanwhile, Tessa, surprisingly calm, started yelling at him, " Everyone doesn't have to know that! Why are you making a scene!"
She was soon rushed in for delivery.
Azriel started reading orders from a book he had read earlier - 'How to help during labor' like, "Tessa, remember to keep breathing. It said that it helps"
She glared at him, and through clenched teeth, said, "I AM breathing!"
Finally, as the baby was about to arrive, Azriel fainted from sheer excitement. Tessa, half-crying, half-laboring, rolled her eyes and said, "Typical."
A baby girl was born, Azriel woke up just in time to take credit for 'being there for the moment.'
"Congratulations! It's a girl" The doctor said as he handed a baby wrapped in a pink blanket.

Azriel jumped with excitement. He had been praying for a girl all along.
"Astrid" Tessa said as she kissed her daughter's forehead.
"Astrid Vesper!" Azriel exclaimed when he held his daughter for the first time.

Days, months and years passed by and Tessa and Azriel's baby girl was 5 already!
Astrid had grown up to become the naughtiest, cute and curious child. (Refer part - I, 'Meet the Characters' for more information.)
"Mom, dad? Can I have a baby brother or sister?" Astrid asked one day when she returned from the park with Azriel.
Tessa smiled at the question. While Azriel replied, "Why? Why do you want a sibling all of a sudden?"
Astrid came up to Azriel and sat in his lap. "Everyone at the park has a brother or sister to play with. Even I want a play buddy!" She said innocently.
"Sure" Azriel smirked. Then, he pulled Tessa to their bedroom.
"Are you going to get me a baby? Can I come to choose?" Astrid walked after them.
Tessa smiled and looked at Azriel as if asking him to respond to 'THIS' question of his daughter.
Azriel bent down, "How about we go to sleep now? Isn't it already past your bedtime?"
"Okay dad"
All of them got ready for bed in their night suits.
Azriel walked in the room to see Tessa and Astrid playing and rolling around on the bed. He leaned against the door frame to watch them.

"What happened? What are you thinking about?" Tessa said when she saw Azriel at the door.
"Nothing much" He came to the bed, "Just thinking about how lucky I am to have you both."
Tessa blushed. The night blurred out as they fell asleep.
