"WHAT?! Y-you've got it all wrong! It can't be Azriel, I know it, I just- Azriel please tell me this isn't true!" Tessa cried out.

"It isn't! Tessa trust me, I wouldn't do something like that to you- or anyone!" Azriel exclaimed. He felt angry at the officer. "Officer, do you even have any proof or are you just suspecting people on random basis?"

"Oh we have proof. Come with me." He led them to a person who had a black sack on his head. "He is the assassin who killed Celeste Lyle and attacked Miss Tessa Lyle and Thalia Vesper. But he is not the mastermind behind the attacks. He confessed that he was hired by you to kill all the female CEOs of the Miraé Group."

"Oh, that's why you attacked me, so that you could be the lead of Miraé." Tessa sneered. "How low of you, Azriel."

"No I didn't- trust me Tessa, please! Azriel couldn't get anyone to listen to him. "Why would I try to kill my own cousin?! Thalia Vesper."

"Isn't what we just revealed enough proof?" The officer rolled eyes.

Tessa was fuming. She hadn't imaged in her wildest dream that Azriel would kill for power, and to think that he was the one who assassinated her sister! She would never forgive him until the day she died. She walked out of the police station angrily.

As she did, she heard Azriel's footsteps. "Tessa. You don't believe him, do you?"

"I don't know what to believe now. I did trust you once upon a time, but now, Azriel, its too late and you've done a lot of things which I can't forgive you for. So leave me alone."

"Tessa.."

Tessa ignored him, sat in her car and drove off.

Azriel sighed. Who would've done this to him? How the did he get someone to hate him THIS much that they would accuse him for the assassination? He would get the bottom of this and convince Tessa that he was innocent.

He reached his office to get his work done as he couldn't neglect his work no matter what happened in his personal life.

Suddenly, his assistant bursted in the room right in Azriel's face.

"Oliver? How many times do I have to tell you to knock? Is that too hard? Anyways...what is it?" Azriel inquired.

Oliver looked embarrassed. "I'm sorry Mr. Vesper. These are some important papers. You ought to look at them immediately, and please sign all of them."

"Not now, Oliver. I'm having a hard time. Save them for later, will you? Put them on the table here." He gestured towards a table to his left.

"I would, but the sender asked them to be signed immediately."

"I told you to keep the papers on the table!"

"They're from Miss Tessa."

"What?" He abruptly got up from his seat. "Why didn't you tell me before? Give them to me, I'll sign The papers."

Oliver gave a little smile.

"DIVORCE PAPERS?!" Azriel was shocked. He needed to talk with Tessa right now. Then he saw a little note from Tessa too. He opened it and read,

"Azriel, I know you want to talk to me, but I don't. The reason for this divorce is that I don't want to share a roof with a criminal. I am sorry but I can't forgive my sister's assassin. We'll be better off without each other.

Tessa"

Azriel couldn't take this anymore. He flung the note and stormed out of his office.

Azriel couldn't concentrate on work for the rest of the day, so he came home early and was surprised to see Tessa there.

"You're home?", he asked.

"As you can see. I had to finish signing the legal documents so I took a day off."

"I'm not having a divorce."

"And I'm not having this conversation!"

His fuse had blown up. He was going to do it.

He picked up a pen and.....
