Tessa finds herself distressed as the people closest to her are being assassinated for the destruction of Miraé group. Amongst the chaos, she finds a ray of hope, ending her darkest nights.
But the truth might just pull them apart......
It had been months since Tessa and Azriel had gotten married. The assassin hadn't caused any further attacks, because he was inches away from the police's grip.
"Any updates officer?" Tessa asked a police officer.
"Not yet, but my team is trying their best. It's just a matter of a few days before the culprit is caught.", the officer assured Tessa
"If you say so.", she hung up.
She rested her head on the dinner table. That's when Azriel came out of their bedroom.
"Morning", he smiled at Tessa.
"Morning", Tessa said.
Tessa and Azriel were bound to come closer considering the situation - they had been living together since months now.
Both of them had developed strong feelings for the other.
"What did the police say?"Azriel asked.
"The same, they are trying." Tessa exhaled.
"Hm" Azriel nodded
The two of them got ready for another day at work.
Tessa wore a short white dress and paired it with a long beige overcoat and a pair of long white boots and Azriel wore a white shirt and beige pants.

They drove to their office holding hands, the headquarters of Miraé group.
"So where are we going in the evening?" Tessa asked she saw their office building approaching.
"You'll see", he smirked. Azriel had informed Tessa about his plan about tonight.
"Okay", replied Tessa as she got off the car when they reached.
In the evening, Azriel took Tessa to stranded place, or so it looked. Tessa was confused as Azriel wouldn't have such bad taste for date places.
"Okay now, close your eyes", Azriel said, "and open them in 3..2..1, SURPRISE!!" Tessa lit up with joy. Before her was the most beautiful and peaceful place she had ever seen, a perfect place for a date.
The area was covered with trees, away from the hustle-bustle of the city. Between them was a round little table.
On the table, were dishes of lasagna, Tessa's favorite food and two bottles of red wine.

It was a sweet surprise since Azriel also said that he had cooked the lasagna himself. Azriel cooked many delicious dishes since they had married and Tessa loved him for it too.
"So, do you like it? Azriel asked, smiling.
"Like it? I love it! I really thought you were going to take me to some expensive restaurant or something." Tessa laughed.
"Yeah. I gotta do something myself too, right?"
They both had a good time and Azriel made this place a lot more romantic by shooting flirty comments to Tessa.
As night fell, the couple went home and fell asleep. It had been a long day for both of them.
The next morning, Tessa got a call from the police. "We found the culprit. Please come to the police station as fast as you can. You may not be knowing this, Miss Tessa, but he is someone very close to you."
"Oh, of course officer."
Tessa and Azriel reached the police station half an hour later.
"So you're here. Please have a seat." The officer offered.
Had Tessa imagined it, or did the officer shoot a dirty look at Azriel? She ignored it anyways. "So who is the assassin? Did you find the mastermind?" She inquired.
"We have, in fact found the assassin. But we can't reveal him yet.", he said. "But we did find the mastermind who had paid the assassin for killing the CEOs."
"Who is it then?" Azriel asked.
"Mr. Vesper, you out of all people should know. He is..."
