Within the hour, Third managed to calm down and reduce the redness and swelling of his eyes. He prepared the necessary documents and, with heavy steps, made his way to the meeting room. He felt like a serial killer walking to the execution room. After clearing his throat and taking a deep breath, he reached for the doorknob and opened the door. Immediately, a couple of eyes landed on him.
"Hello." He greeted his new colleagues. Avoiding Khai's and Bone's gaze as much as possible, Third walked towards Shane and sat beside him. His palms were sweaty from the fear and stress.
"Now, that our precious director and writer is here, we can start the meeting." Shane patted Third's shoulder. The happy clapping echoed through the room, as Shane introduced him again.
"I discussed with Third before he returned to Thailand about wanting a new play. And as I was informed he already has one for us. Can you tell us more about it, Third?" Shane grinned at him. With a light nod, Third opened a folder he was holding and handed a few copies of his script around.
"As you can see the play is called..."
"Bittersweet betrayal..." Khai's voice cut him off. Third, glanced at him. The frown on his former best friend startled him.
"Is something wrong with it?" He asked ansurly.
"It's been a long time since we did a drama."
"That's why Third is here." Shane interrupted. "To bring fresh air to our theatre.
