The noises of the action movie echoed through Off's house. He sipped from his beer glancing at his two best friends. It's been a while since they had time to relax with a movie and a good beer.
"So when will you drop the bomb?" Tay suddenly asked. Off frowned, not understanding.
"I don't get you?"
"When will you pop the question?" Arm joined the conversation.
"What question?" Off still had no idea what the two were talking about.
"You know. Same-sex marriage is legal in Thailand now." Tay looked at him as he sipped from his can. Off blinked a few times, processing the meaning of his best friend's question.
"What makes you think I haven't already done it?" He shot back. Arm's and Tay's mouths hung open in surprise.
"And what did he answer?" Arm was the first to wake up.
"I bet Pet said no. Who would want this lazy, grumpy ass as a husband?" Tay laughed.
"Yeah, it's exactly what he answered." Off rolled his eyes before he hit Tay's head.
"And now for real. Did he say yes?" Arm asked again. Off nodded. A gentle smile spread across his face as he recalled Gun's tearful eyes and the diamond ring adorning his delicate finger.
"Congratulations, Peng. You are one lucky man." Tay patted his back.
"Congratulations, Jum." Arm joined with his wishes.
"Yeah, I am really lucky." Off smiled at them.
