Pick's POV

"Don't try to lie to me, Rome. You belong to me." The possessive undertone in Din's voice made Pick's blood boil. He couldn't even remember how he closed the gap between them before his fist struck Din's face. The tall male stumbled, releasing Rome from his grip along the way. Pick didn't hesitate, pushing the scared boy behind him. The rangers ran towards them, but they still had a quiet distance to cross.

"Get the fuck away from Rome." Pick hissed. Din glared at him, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"Why the fuck are you even here!" Din growled with such a malice, that it made Rome flinch.

"I am here to kick your ass and bring MY BOYFRIEND home." Pick retorted with the same hate.

"Rome is not your boyfriend." Din barked, moving closer to them. Pick instinctively stepped back, making sure Rome was still hidden behind him. The smaller boy clutched the hem of his shirt, not letting go for even a second. Pick understand him. Dim must have frightened him. He can only imagine what Rome had to endure, being alone in the woods with this psycho at his heels.

"He is. Get it in your sick head." Pick snarled. Din shook his head in denial and leaned in to catch the sight of Rome. Pick easily covered his tiny frame with his body, preventing Din from seeing him.

"Rome, honey. Come here..." Din tried to lure his small boyfriend out of hiding. Pick felt Rome's body pressing against his back as if he wanted to merge with him so Din wouldn't get to him.

"I am here. No one is going to hurt you." Pick couldn't help it and assure Rome, he was safe with him.
