After buying me my shoes and phone, Yunho insisted that we stop in the mall to get more clothes. I browsed the racks and selected a few basics—things that seemed comfortable and wearable with a few different things.

Yunho added a few things he thought I needed into the growing pile as well, including a thick winter coat, pajamas that were fancier than my old fancy clothes, and a knit hat. I tried to protest, but he gave me a look that silenced any argument before it started. By the time we finished, the store was close to shutting down for the night, and we had a stack of bags piled high.

Yunho grabbed all of them before I even had a chance to help, hoisting them up effortlessly. I tried to take at least one, but he shook his head, grinning as if the weight was nothing to him.

"Thanks for all of this, Yunho," I said, feeling a bit awkward as we stood near the exit waiting for Dmitri to pick us up. I shifted from foot to foot, not quite sure what to do with myself since he'd taken all of the items to hold. "I really appreciate it."

He flashed me a teasing smile, his eyes crinkling as he pulled off his mask. "Thanks for letting me buy it for you without complaining."

"Yunho!" I gasped. "You might be seen! Put the mask back on," I fretted.

"I told you, I'm not recognizable," he chuckled, waving it off. "I just didn't want to get sick."

I frowned. "You should've told me that was why. I would've worn one too."

"Why?" he asked, not looking up as he texted Dmitri to see what was taking so long.

"What if I caught something and gave it to you?" I fretted, suddenly feeling guilty for not having thought about it earlier. The last thing I wanted was for him to get sick because of me.

Yunho just shrugged. "I'll figure it out."

"Yunho," I said, rolling my eyes. He could be so casual about these things, but I took it seriously. I would've gladly worn a mask if I'd known.

"Charlie," he smirked, clearly amused by my worrying.

Just as I was about to argue back, something in the corner of my eye caught my attention—a dress displayed in the window of the store we were just in. It was stunning, the kind of dress that didn't just hang in your closet. It was cream-colored, with intricate beading that shimmered under the mall's overhead lights. The fabric looked like it would float when you walked, the skirt flowing in a way that felt almost dreamlike.

For a moment, I couldn't tear my eyes away from it, imagining how it would feel to slip into something so beautiful. It wasn't the kind of thing I'd normally let myself even consider. But it was hard to ignore how perfect it was.

"You like it, don't you?" Yunho's voice pulled me out of my thoughts.

I blinked, tearing my gaze away from the dress and shaking my head. "No, I just..."
