The A game is on

Praise got to work early the next day.
"Good morning Grace", she greeted.
"Good morning Praise, I see you are coming hard right", she grinned.
"Yep, shaddy gisted me about Cheif and I don't wanna fall into her trap"
"Good girl"
"Hmm, see you during lunch break ok", praise said and left to her office. "Sure", Grace replied and returned to her work. Caleb arrived few minutes after praise had gone to her office. Christy actually came to the building with Kelvin today. Her car broke down on the road and Kev offered to give her a ride while he asked Joe to call a mechanic to fix her car for her.

Few minutes earlier
While in Kev's car, "why don't you dump this tin and get yourself a new one", Kev suggested.
"Sir please money ain't easy to come by nowadays", she replied casually.
"Really, what about your salary. You guys are the only employees' with the best paid salary in this town".
"That true sir and thanks for that but I had a dream of having my future boyfriend buying me a Ferrari"
"Ok, pray he'll be someone like me so that he can make this dream come true", he shrugged.
"It will definitely be you", she muttered to herself.
"What did you say?", Kev asked.
"Nothing sir", she smiled. She sat next to Joe and was so happy she has at least come this close to him.
Kelvin Gerald is a no nonsense man, a neat freak as such and would never let anyone enter his car not sit by him except Caleb and his family with the exception of Lorna.
Grace gasped when she saw Christabel walking side by side with Kelvin in the company. Cat walking like the heiress of the company. Kev stopped behind her to check something on his phone while Christy continue walking which made those looking burst out with laughter.
She turned to find Kev entering his private elevator. Looking stummed and embarrassed, she tut and left to her office.

Christy called Praise to her office and asked her to make some sketches of necklace for their new project. Praise returned to her office and worked earnestly on the work. The art consumed most of her time that she didn't realize it was lunch break. Shaddy stood infront of her half opened door and knocked. She thought the person would come in as instructed but no one was coming so she bothered not to look up until she heard another knock on the door.
"Just come in, can't you read or...
", She paused after recognising the person at the door.
"Shadrach! Why did you chose to bother me today?", She asked a bit upset buy covered it with laughter.
"Sorry, just wanted to get your attention. It's actually lunch and am here to grab you for food", he explained and winked.
"Oh, it's lunch already! Sh....., I made arrangements with Grace!", She realised. "Sorry shaddy but I have some get together with Grace unless you don't mind joining us?"
"Sure I don't mind so let's go get Grace", he replied opening the door wide enough for her to leave before following her.

"Guys, thank you so much. I really needed an inspiration to draw something nice for Chief", praise said while they eat.
"You are always welcome dear", grace said.
"Wait, did Christy ask you to paint some necklace for her?", Shaddy asked surprised.
"Yes, that's what I was working on when you came to my office"
"Great, you really have to impress her so she can say something nice about you to the boss. That's the design for our upcoming project".
"Yeah, she told me about it and I don't wanna disappoint her".
"Go girl, I trust you", grace cheered and caressed her hand.
Shadrach as usual drop them back to work and they departed to their stations. Praise was able to make some few sketches so she handed them personally to Christy. "Oh my God praise these are awesome", she commended her.

"Thank you ma'am. Please if there is nothing else then I'll leave", praise asked while Christy nodded to dismiss her. Praise left with smiles all over her face. She did it. Christy didn't sit, she just sent it to Kelvin right away.
"Good afternoon boss", she said after knocking and entering his office.
"Yeah Christy, what can I do for you", he's said resting in his chair.
"Well these are the sketches Praise made and I did some touch ups on it so I wanted you to take a look and make your choice so that we can start with the preparation towards our new  release", she stated and handed the files to Kev. He asked her to sit while he went through the formats.
"Wow Christy, these exquisite. I guess Caleb didn't make a bad choice", he said with a smirk on his face. "Yes boss", she reluctantly agreed.
"You know what, start working on all of them but pay attention to this very one", he commanded and set aside a very peculiar drawing. It was a necklace made of diamonds in chain and a very big rose-like shape of a flower at the center.
"Sir, you have a good taste in art, this is the very sketch I worked my magic on", she stated blinking vigorously.
"I see, that's why I made you my chief designer. Give it a name and find a theme for it as well".
"Alright sir. I'd do my best to give it n a wonderful and touching theme", she replied and left with the drawings.
"Wow Praise, you are my saviour", she said to herself as she walked to her office beaming with smiles.
