"What! you mean all this happened just today?", Adwoah asked surprised.
"Yes dear, it's quiet an interesting workplace right?"
"It is, cause they should get ready for you", Adwoah husked.
"What will we be eating this evening?", Praise asked.
"Plain rice with veges stew and grilled chicken thighs"
"Woow, my mouth is watery now'
"Just go freshen up and join me on the table ok"
"I'll definitely do that", she smirked and headed towards her room.

Caleb arranged for Joe to pick Medori from the airport.
"Hmmmm, it feels so great to be back home", she said after Joe had brought her to the car.
"Indeed it is", he smirked.
"Why didn't Junior come to pick me?", Mimi asked Joe as she sat at the back seat of the car.
"Miss please boss is kinda busy with work today that's why", Joe explained.
"I understand, I guess he wants to give me a better life after we finally get married", Mimi chuckled while Joe started driving after packing her luggage into the boot.

Kelvin stared at his phone which was apparently ringing. He had decided not to answer it knowing who the caller was. He later decided to pick the call.
"Hey Junior, where have you been? I've been trying to reach  since", Medori's voice came through as loud as a hello motor alarm.
"I was in a.... Meeting, that's why I couldn't answer your call".
"Ok, I've heard you. Joe says you've been busy with work nowadays".
"Yh, that's true. I still have a lot to do".
"Guess what?"
" What is it?"
"I said guess"
"Well you know I ain't good with guesses so please make it snappy I've got a lot to do".
"Fine, I'm in town and I was hoping u come and pick me but it's ok"
"Wel...welcome then, sorry I couldn't come to pick you up"
"It ok Junior, I'll be settling in Lewis Guest house but Aunt Lorna says I could stay in your house for some days".
"Very well then, hope you enjoy your stay here"
"Junior aren't you happy that I'm back? it's been ages since I saw you. I've really missed you"
"Errm, I really have to go now. Bye", Kev said and hanged up.
"Has he taken another contract?", Mimi asked Joe.
"Yes ma'am, a huge one"
"O....Kay", she answered sadly staring at Kevin's picture on her phone.
"Hmmmmm", Kev sighed. That was very close. Caleb hid behind Kev's door and knocked, seeking his attention. When he raised his head Caleb smiled. "Our fiancee is in", he announced teasingly. Kelvin grinned intentionally, "I am fully aware". He said and asked him to vanish from his sight at once.

Caleb loves to tease Kelvin whenever he's in distress but it actually helps him(Kev) to solve the problem faster just to avoid him pulling his legs anytime he sees him. The engagement thing just broke the friendship between Medori and Kev especially when Mimi was over the moon about it. She actually informed the whole school about it the next Monday after their unacceptable engagement. The media made a fuss about it when he took the position as the CEO. The issue got serious whenever he's asked the day he'd get married or who his girlfriend was anytime he was invited for an interview either on TV or radio.

Joe stopped the car infront of Lewis Guest house, the number one hotel in Atlanta where those born with silver spoons in their mouth stay for holidays or vacations. To cut it short, the resting house for the affluent. Medori got out and made her way to the gust house while Joe carried her luggage along. She booked a VVIP room and took her key card to the room. Joe helped her with her bags till they got to her room.
"Thanks, I'll take it from here", Mimi said with a smile.
"You are welcome Miss. I shall take my leave", Joe said and bowed before leaving.

Later In the evening in Corbetts Mansion..
Ciara sat in the living room with Cyril, Kev's dad watching TV and waiting for Kelvin jnr to return while Lorna busied herself with tonight's dinners.
"Where is the grapes juice?", Lorna barked at the maid servants.
"It's in the Kitchen ma'am", keziah, their cheif maidservant answered.
"And what is it doing there? Bring it here now".
"Yes ma'am", keziah replied
A horn of a car was heard from the compound. "She's here!", Lorna announced with excitement.
"Did you invite Medori here Ciara asked.
"Yes, is there something wrong with that?"
"Yes, she'd only cause my grandson to get angry".
"Oh c'mon mother in-law, it's just lovers quarrel they'd have and nothing else".
"Hump!", She sighed and turn to continue watching her TV.
Lorna rushed to the entrance to receive Mimi.
"Good evening aunty", Mimi greeted with excitement.
"Come here my daughter", Lorna said and embraced her. "Look at you, the last time I saw you, you were just a little girl but see how big a woman you've grown into", she added after releasing her from her grasp.
"Oh aunty c'mon", she acted along.

"Come inside", Lorna stated ushering her inside the house.
"Oh my God this place hasn't changed a bit", Mimi screamed upon seeing the decorations and arrangements of everything in the house.
"Yes dear, you can change if you don't like it after you've been married into this family ok", Lorna stated.
"Really?"
"For sure", Ciara's voice echoed in their ears as they stood in the hallway.
"Oh hi Granny, sorry I didn't notice your presence", she said as she turned to face Granny.
"Is that how your mother taught you to greet the elderly?", She snapped.
"Come on mother, she's almost a part of our family so what's all this rigid formalities for?", Lorna stepped in to save Mimi.
"To whom and how is she related to me? She's just Geraldon's friend".
"It's Gerald grandma not Geraldon", Kev's voice came through from behind all of them.
