"I'm so sorry grandma for my mistake earlier", Mimi faked an apology.
"My boy is here!", Ciara ignored her and hurried off to see Kelvin at the door.
"I made a promise so I got to fulfill it".
"Awwn such a sweet boy, let's go sit at the table then", Ciara said and walked with him hand in hand to the table while Lorna comforted Medori and walked her to the table.
"You forgot to greet your mom because of your granny Kelvin!", Lorna complained as soon as they say down.
"Sorry mom, good evening. Hope you are doing great", he said sarcastically staring into his mom's face.
"Whatever as you can see, I'm not dead. Very much alive and kicking", she spoke out of annoyance.
"Hi Junior, we finally meet here", Medori cleared the silence which had suddenly engulfed everyone at the table.
"Gerald, please bring your dad here so he can join us", granny told Kev before he could answer Mimi.
"Sure grandma", he responded and went to the living room to pick his dad. Lorna gave Ciara a deadly look while she held Mimi's hand under the table, caressing it.
"Hi dad, how are you?", Kev asked expecting no answer from him but Cyril shocked him by answering.
"I'm good and you?"
"Daddy you can speak", he exclaimed almost freaking out.
"Yes, he can now bring him over here!", Granny instructed while Lorna remained shocked. Guess it remained a surprise to him. Kelvin snr. smiled and nodded as Junior drove him to the dining table in his wheel chair.

"When did you start speaking again my dear?", Lorna asked when Kev jnr. brought him to the table.
"About a month ago", Cyril answered sincerely.
"And you've kept it from me all this while?"
"So that you can shut him up again?", Ciara husked.
"Grandma why would you say that", Medori chipped in
"Now you keep quiet over!", Ciara hissed.
"I actually came here so we can have a peaceful dinner and sleep cause I'm damn tired not to witness this drama. Grandma and mom please calm down", Kev ordered. "Now please shall we start eating", he added as he started serving his dad before helping Ciara out.
"So tell me,how was your shoots?", Kev asked Mimi to ward off the awkward silence at the table.
"Right so I shot a movie with, Peter Banks, Eddie murffey, Korean actor Kim Tae and Hailey Bieber", Medori began her narration.
"Wow girl, you are really climbing to the top.You actually had the chance to shoot a movie with Hailey herself", Kev commended.
"Yes dear, I'm working hard for our future".
"Don't worry about us cause there isn't so you worry about yours". Ciara almost got choked with her juice after Kev had said this.
"Are you ok Mom?", Cyril asked looking concerned.
"I'm fine son", she replied with a smirk on her face.
"So when are you going to stay with us darling?", Lorna asked Mimi.
"Uhmmm whenever Junior will ask me"
"So when will you ask her?", she directed the question to Kelvin.
"She can come here anytime right grandma?"
"Of course my dear, you are always welcomed here", Ciara faked a smile which made Mimi feel at ease while Lorna read Ciara's facial expressions.
Soon, the dinner was over and it was late so Medori couldn't return to the hotel. Lorna asked her to stay and she reluctantly accepted before Kelvin's presence. Kev accompanied granny to her room while Lorna acted as a good wife today thereby, sending Cyril to their room. Lorna intentionally asked Mimi to stay in the room close to Kelvin's so that she could see him even if he doesn't wish to.

Kev took off his clothes and entered the shower as soon as he returned from Grandma's room. It was indeed a hectic day for him. Mimi sneaked into his room while he was bathing and laid naked on his bed plus switching off the lights. Kev remember turning on the light so who could have turned it off? He asked himself as he emerged from the bathroom. He made his way outside to see if it was some light out or there was fault with the fuse. To his surprise, there was light every where even in the corridors. He returned to his room and turned on the lights. He got shocked by what he saw and widened his eyes in disbelief. After viewing for sometime he came back to his senses and turned to look else where.

"What?", Mimi chuckled. "Are you shy now after looking?", She teased.
"What are you doing in my room and on my bed?", he asked upset.
"Baby, don't tell me you don't like what you are seeing? Why don't you hurry and jump in", she spoke romantically.
"Get lost by the count of 3!"
"Calm down babe, I ain't a witch", she said drawing closer to where he stood with his towel covering his lower part of his body. She roamed her hands from his chest to his navel. Kev watched her as she passed her hands round his navel to his waist. He grab hold of her hand when she decided to carry on to the inside of his towel.
"Are you out of your mind?", He hissed.
"It's not like you don't like what I am doing", she spoke softly. Kev pulled her up for her to face him. Looking straight in the eyes and no where else.

"Listen to me, I'd forever consider you as my friend and the sister I never had. I can never love you or think about you this way ok. Now wrap yourself with my blanket and get lost before I lose it", Kev commanded.
Medori sobbed but could not say anything, she did as he told her and left his room. Kev heaved a heavy sigh and fell on his bed.

Medori wept bitterly as she lay on her bed. After crying for some time she wiped her face and stared blankly at the ceiling. "I won't give up on you Junior, never!", She said to herself and buried her face into the pillow.
