Previously on Chapter 5
"Why you-" I growled out. Deku is quick to move to stand in front of her. I click my tongue in annoyance and turns my head away. "Just carry her and we should get out of here..." I said. Deku picks her up in his arms as we make our way outside. I know that I'm the one who asked him to carry L/N. But for some reason, my heart aches at the sight. What's gotten into me?
-What's With Them?-
Y/N P.O.V
Midoriya carried me to the school's infirmary. There's a woman called Recovery Girl. She gently kisses my cheek which makes me feel confused. But soon learn that it's the way for her to activate her healing Quirk. After she's done, I feel a little drained. Apparently, she only fasten the recovery process. But it costs us our body's energy.
I can only lay on the bed after that. Even so, I still have to make sure I don't fall asleep. I don't want the tailed beast to take control of me again. It was a close call. I'm glad I chose to give that keychain to Midoriya. So he'd be able to snap me back to my senses.
The door to the room I'm in slowly opens. I turn to look to see it's Midoriya. He makes his way towards me until he's standing next to the bed. He sends me a small smile as he stares at me.
So, how are you feeling, L/N-Chan? Better... I hope" he asked. I hum softly and nod my head, to let him know I am feeling a lot better. "I'm sorry for using the keychain on you..." he said.
"It's okay. I asked you myself" I said. He still looks upset with what he just did. "Hey, it was needed. Otherwise, I might ended up killing you or Bakugo. Maybe even both of you. I should be thanking you for using it to wake me, Midoriya. Thank you..." I said. I move my head to bow at him.
"E-Eh??? You don't have to bow, L/N-Chan!!" He said, visibly flustered. I let out a soft giggle at his reaction. His cheeks are turning red by the seconds. "I'm just glad that you're okay..." he said.
My eyes saddening a little as I realize he must have seen my state when Shukaku took control of my body. "Are you not scared of me?" I asked. He stares at me with a confused gaze. I turn my head away from him. "After all, you saw what I look like when this monster took over of my body. You don't find it scary?" I said.
"It is scary..." he said. I smile sadly at his honestly. I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn to look at him. "But I know the real you wouldn't want that. That's why, I believe that you are not a monster, L/N-Chan" he said. I blink my eyes at what he said.
"Midoriya..." I said. I feel my tears starts to gather in my eyes. I wipe my tears, only for more to flow. I ended up covering my face as I start to cry softly.
"E-Eh?? Did I say something wrong? I am so sorry!!" He exclaimed, panicking a little. I shake my head as I move my hands from my face. I turn my head to look at him. I gesture him to come closer and he did. I gently wrap my arms around his neck.
"Thank you, Midoriya..." I said, in a soft voice. I give him a light squeeze as I bury my face into the crook of his neck. "You're the first person to ever said those kind words to me. Saying that I'm not a monster. Thank you so much, Midoriya..." I said.
3rd P.O.V
Two pair of legs walks through the hallway of the school as they head towards the school's infirmary. One of them opens the door, only to be greeted by the sight of green haired boy hugging the h/c haired girl. Their eyes widen at the sight.
"Eh, Todoroki... Bakugo" Y/N said, noticing the two boys by the door. She pulls away from Midoriya. The boy turn his head to look at the other two boys who had just arrived there. "I didn't expect to see you both here" she said.
"Well, you were hurt. And I got worried. So I came here. And it seems like he also has the same idea" Todoroki said, while gesturing towards Bakugo with his thumb. Y/N blinks her eyes at the dual haired boy's words. "Are you feeling better?" He asked.
"I am... just tired. That's all" she said. Todoroki nods his head. Ever since the day where he comforted the h/c haired girl. He can't get her out of his mind. He would constantly finds himself thinking about the girl in front of him.
"Oi, Bakugo. Aren't you gonna say anything?" Todoroki said, turning his head to look at the spiky yellow head. Bakugo turns to look at him with a glare, before turning to look at me. He opens his mouth, but no words come out. Todoroki let out a sigh at the spiky blond haired boy. "He felt bad. He thinks he's responsible for almost making you lose control" he said.
"Oi!! I don't need your help to say that!" Bakugo yelled at him. Y/N just stares at the two of them back and forth with a confused gaze. Bakugo huffed before turning his head to look at Y/N. "But yeah... what he said" he said, turning his head away from the h/c haired girl.
"Well... if you're trying to apologize. You don't have to" Y/N said. Bakugo turn his head to look at her. "There's nothing to apologize for. As a matter of fact, I'm the one who should be apologizing. If it weren't for Midoriya... I might've ended up killing you" she said. She leans her body forward, bowing her head a little.
"Forgive me, Bakugo" she said. Bakugo's eyes widen at what she said. He turn his head away. But not before Y/N managed to catch a glimpse of his red cheeks. Y/N blinks her eyes at the his reaction. A soft giggle escape her lips, making the three boys stares at her.
Each of their hearts starts to beat faster than they should. The only thing going through each of their minds is that they wanted to always be near the h/c haired girl. Why they feel that way about Y/N? None of them know.
