Chapter 14

I guess this is where we start. Once L/N wakes up from her deep sleep, we will do our best to win her heart. I'll try my best to make sure L/N will be able to see that I'm the one for her, so she will choose me.

Midoriya P.O.V

I walk through UA's hallway, holding my chin in my hand as I walk. My mind went back to the discussion I just had with both Todoroki-Kun and Kacchan a few days ago. So, Todoroki-Kun and Kacchan are both in love with L/N-Chan.

Would I even stand a chance if I complete against them? The two of them are amazing. It makes me feel like I'm nothing compare to them. I would very well still be the Quirkless boy I was if it weren't for All Might giving me his All For One.

"Young Midoriya..." a voice said. I snap out of my daze and turn around to see All Might. He walks up to me. "What are you doing here?" He asked. I stare at him with a confused gaze. He let out a sigh and places a hand on my shoulder. "Did you heard the news from Recovery Girl?" He said.

"What news?" I asked, staring at him in confusion. He opens his mouth to speak. My eyes widen at the words coming out of his mouth. I quickly turn around and rush off.

I run past Todoroki-Kun and Kacchan along the way. "Oi, Midoriya! Where are you going in such hurry?" I hear Todoroki-Kun asked. I stop running for a while and turn to look at them.

"L/N-Chan!" I yelled out. I turn around and continue to run. Soon after I said that, I hear the sound of their footsteps behind me. I just keep my head forward as I continue to run.

Soon we reach the lab. It slides open to reveal what's in it. The three of us make our way inside. My heart starts to beat fast in my chest as I stare at L/N-Chan who lays on the hospital bed with her eyes closed. The three of us walks closer until we stand next to the bed.

She slowly opens her eyes and turn to look at us. A soft smile starts to form on her face. "Hey, guys..." she said. I feel tears starts to form in the corner of my eyes.

"You're okay... thank goodness..." I said. I drop on my knees with my hands on the bed. I feel a gentle hand on my head. I lift my head to see L/N staring at me with a soft smile.

Y/N P.O.V

I slowly open my eyes, alerting Recovery Girl who's monitoring me. Her eyes widen as she rush to the phone and calls for someone. After that, she helps me out of the tank, placing me on the hospital bed. I still feel a little bit sleepy after just waking up. I don't even know how long I've been asleep.

I hear the door slides opens, followed by the sound of footsteps. I slowly open my eyes and turn my head to see it's Midoriya, Todoroki and Bakugo. A tired smile starts to form on my face at the sight of the three of them. Midoriya instantly starts to cry.

"You're okay... thank goodness..." he said, as he drops on his knees. His hands are holding onto the bed. I lift my hand, gently placing it on his head. He lift his head to look at me. I can see the tears rolling down his cheeks. I turn my head to look at Todoroki and Bakugo. The two of them look relieved to see that I'm finally awake.

"I'm sorry for worrying you three" I said, in a soft voice. I smile softly at each one of them. "But I'm okay now..." I said. They smile softly at me. Even Bakugo... he has a small smile on his face.

Recovery Girl is currently running a test on me to make sure I've fully recovered. I just sit on the hospital bed as she asked me a few questions regarding how I'm feeling or whether I feel any discomfort. I just answer all of her questions calmly, as she writes them down.

"All right... you're all better. You're free to leave now. But be sure to take it easy" she said. I smile softly at her words and nods my head. I slid off the bed and stands up.

"Thank you, Recovery Girl" I said, bowing my head. I feel a gentle pat on my head, making me smile. I stand straight and make my way out of the infirmary.

I close the door behind me. I turn to look forward, only to jump in fright when I notice three people standing in front of me. I huffed in annoyance when I realize who they are.

"Ah sheesh! You three trying to give me a heart attack or something?" I said, placing my hand on my chest as I try to calm my heart. Midoriya let out a nervous laugh while rubbing his neck sheepishly. I let out a sigh as I run my hand through my hair.

"And to think Recovery Girl informed me that I've fully recovered, and that I could leave the infirmary" I said, still rubbing my chest to calm myself while closing my eyes. "But I think I might as well go back inside because my heart is pounding like crazy" I said.

"E-Eh!! No! Please don't, L/N-Chan! I am so sorry!!" I hear Midoriya frantically apologize. I open my eyes to look at him. I let out a soft giggle at his reaction. Even both Torodoki and Bakugo look panicked. They stares at me with confused gazes.

"I was just messing around" I said, placing my hands on my hips as I stare at them with an amused gaze. He let out a sigh of relief as he places his hand on his chest. "A little payback for scaring me" I said, giving them a close-eyed smile. I yelped in surprise when I feel my body getting pulled into an embrace. I open my eyes to see strands of red hair, which means the one hugging me is Todoroki. I feel a hand on my head as he gently run his hand through my hair.

"Don't do that again..." he whispered softly, placing his chin on top of my head. "I was genuinely so scared, L/N..." he said. My eyes soften at what he said. I turn my head to glance at the other two, noticing them glaring at Todoroki.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion as I stare at them. Why are they reacting that way about me being hugged by Todoroki? What had I missed for the time I was out?
