One wise man once said, 'Goodbyes are not forever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I'll miss you until we meet again.' And he was right.

But when we think about goodbyes, there is no good way to say someone who you love goodbye to. It's sad to leave the place you call home easily. And it's something that only a few of us can do with grace.

And Vivian was not one of those graceful people. Those who could say goodbye without tears and begging and sadness and a broken heart.

Vivian was heartbroken when that day came. The day when she had to pack her bags and go back to Germany where she had her family. She did not want to go.

She and Elvis were together in the piano room. Heavy conversation in the air and Vivian knew what was coming. And she couldn't help herself and fell tears making its way into her eyes.

"Baby, I hate to say it, but our time is up," Spoke up Elvis as gently as was possible in their situation. But he was sad about that situation himself. And knew there was nothing they could do against it.

"No, I'm not going back," Shook her head Vivian as she turned to face him. And as soon as she looked at him, hot tears left her eyes and fell down her cheeks.

"I'll call my parents and tell them that I missed the flight," Mumbled out Vivian, trying to figure out something. To get some idea that would let her to stay with Elvis in Memphis.

"You really think they're gonna believe that?" Asked her Elvis back, shaking his head slightly at her ideas. But he could understand why she was saying all those things.

"Then I'll tell them the truth," Breathed out Vivian, her hands shaking with nerves. But she knew that Elvis was the rational one and will never agree with that.

"That I love you and I'm not going back," Said out loud Vivian. Admitting her feelings to him for the first time. For the first time with words, not only actions.

"Baby, that's just gonna make it worse for next time," Shook his head Elvis, trying to ignore that she said that she loves him. Even when it was hard.

He took a deep breath and made a few short steps towards her. Explaining everything to her, "I gotta go do another film, so, if you go back and you do well in school, maybe, your parents will let you come back."

He was gentle with her, because he saw how much heartbroken and exhausted she was from this whole situation. But he was as well, just without crying and swollen eyes.
