Y/N leaned over the balcony, peering down at the courtyard below where a new figures stood in a Hellsing uniform. The girl was tall, blonde, with wide blue eyes that still held a trace of humanity in them, even though her life as a human had come to an end. Seras Victoria—Y/N had heard her name earlier from Alucard. She had been a police officer before, now she was one of them, another vampire under the control of Hellsing.
Y/N glanced up at Alucard, who stood beside him in the shadows, his usual wide-brimmed red hat casting a dark shadow over his face. "Did you turn her?" Y/N asked, his voice quiet, though filled with curiosity.
Alucard’s crimson eyes glinted as he gave a sharp nod. "Yes. During a mission in Cheddar Village," he replied, his deep voice like a dark melody. "She was dying. I gave her a choice, and she chose this."
Y/N looked down again, his gaze returning to Seras, who was standing awkwardly in the middle of the courtyard, looking somewhat lost. He felt a surge of excitement. It had been a while since someone new joined the estate. For so long, it had been just him, Integra, Walter, and of course, Alucard. The idea of another person—a vampire, no less—was thrilling to him.
"Will she be staying with us now?" Y/N asked, turning to face Alucard fully, his eyes filled with curiosity.
Alucard let out a low chuckle. "Yes. She belongs to Hellsing now," he said simply, his gaze never leaving Seras. "She will learn to serve, as I do."
Y/N’s excitement grew at the thought of having someone else around. His lips curled into a smile. "That’s great," he said, his voice carrying a note of excitement. "It’s been just us for so long. It’ll be nice to have someone new around."
Alucard glanced down at him, amusement flickering in his eyes. "Is that so?" he asked, his voice teasing.
Y/N nodded, almost bouncing on his feet. "Of course! I mean, it’s not that I don’t like being around you, Integra, and Walter," he quickly added, "but… it’s different. You know, she’s new. Someone to talk to. I wonder what kind of person she is."
Alucard’s smirk widened, but he didn’t say anything further. Instead, his gaze remained fixed on Seras, who was still trying to find her place in the new world she had been thrust into. Y/N could feel the vampire’s intense gaze, his eyes always analyzing, always calculating.
"Can I meet her?" Y/N asked eagerly, pulling Alucard’s attention back to him. "I mean, properly. She’s going to be living here, right?"
"Of course," Alucard replied smoothly. "But don’t overwhelm her too much. She’s still adjusting to her new… existence."
Y/N gave a quick nod, but he couldn’t contain his excitement. "I’ll be careful," he promised, his eyes lighting up with enthusiasm. "I can’t wait!"
