Valyria and Aegon had entered the hall together. Valyria's hand was wrapped around her husband's arm. She looked up lovingly at him but couldn't help but notice the annoyance on his face.

"Could you at least pretend to look like you're happy to see everyone." She whispered to him while smiling and waving to their guests.

"I do not care for any of them. I have spoke of this." Aegon rolled his eyes. Valyria frowned and looked to the ground. She had hoped he could pretend to be happy just this once.

"I'm apologize my love. If I cannot drink my wine I cannot enjoy my night. But since you have forbade me from drinking wine, I forbade you from not enjoying your celebration." Aegon looked down to her. She had grown into a woman yes but he still towered over her.

"Only if you dance with me. At least once. It is our celebration. Not just mine my darling." Valyria's hand caressed his face and she smiled. She knew he would do as she asked, hence why he hadn't had a drop of wine since she had woken him from his slumber.

"Whatever you wish, I shall make happen." Aegon grabbed her hand from his face and kissed the back of it. "Speak to your guests. I shall take my seat and wait for you." He walked away trying to avoid as many people as he could.

Valyria on the other hand was more than happy to greet and welcome any guest that had approached her. Alicent and Viserys had been sitting at the highest table and had seen the couple's interaction.

"My dear Alicent. Don't you believe they are perfect together?" Viserys smiled weakly. Though it was obvious he didn't care for any of his children like he did for Rhaenyra, he was glad to see the two were happy together.

"Yes My King." Alicent struggled to get the words out. She was absolutely horrified seeing her perfect child and her worst child be married. But she was just The Queen with no power. "Excuse me." Alicent picked the piece of parchment up from her lap along with the small box that arrived with it. She made her way over to her daughter who was speaking with a few Ladys who had come to attend with their Lord Husbands.

"My dear, may I have a minute?" Valyria's eyes lit up seeing her mother. She hadn't realized she hadn't spoken to her since the ceremony.

"Yes mother of course. Excuse me ladies." The women all bowed and walked in another direction.

"This is for you." Alicent handed Valyria the piece of parchment. On it was the black seal of the three headed dragon. The symbol of her house. "It's from Rhaenyra. I had written to her to let her know the change of marriage and she sent this for you." Valyria's smiled widened. Rhaenyra didn't attend which was saddening but she sent a letter to her half sister.

Valyria broke the seal and rolled the parchment open not wanting to wait to see what her sister had wrote.

Dearest Valyria,

I am ecstatic to hear that you will be married soon. I just wish I was there to see it. I know you are probably disappointed with me but I wanted to let you know I am with child again.

I do wish for a girl this time round. It seems I can only produce male heirs. I only wish for a girl hoping she will be as beautiful and as kind as you are.

I remember when you were just a small babe. Your mother would carry you for hours on end. She would never let you go for you would cry and cry if you were with anyone else but her.

You've learned to be more independent as you grew and you have your mother to thank for that. I know it hurt her seeing you be able to live life not always at her side. I'm sure she does miss those days as well.
