The next day Valyria had awoken with her husband by her side. The night before they made up and now they were back in their shared chambers.
"My love." She whispered to wake him. The servants would be here soon to help her dress and she wanted him awake. She loved to spend time together just the two of them. "Aegon."
The man beside her stirred but stayed asleep. "Aegon Targaryen. Wake up." She shoved him firmly and he groaned.
"Why must you always wake me from my slumber precious wife?" His eyes stayed closed as he talked. He turned his body that had been facing away from her towards her now.
"Because you prefer to stay in bed all day. We have duties to attend to husband." She leaned over and placed a soft kiss on his head.
"You've missed." He joked with a small smile on his face.
"No. I don't believe I have." Valyria giggled.
"Fine." Aegon opened his eyes and leaned up to kiss her on her lips. "I'll do it myself." He smirked as she blushed.
"Princess! My Prince!" Someone called from outside their chambers before opening the door. "The Queen has requested your presence for breakfast." The servant woman spoke. She did her best not to look to Aegon. The woman was scared of him knowing how he could be but with Valyria still with him happily means he wouldn't be trying anything with anyone other than his wife.
"Yes, thank you." Valyria playfully glared at Aegon. "Would you rather have been woken up by the mention of our mother?" She asked.
"I would have preferred to wake up by something else." Aegon nuzzled into his wife's neck and left small kisses as he trailed down.
"Could you grab a dress for me dear?" Valyria asked the servant who nodded and walked to the other side of the room.
"Get up. We have to eat and then we have to show up at court." Valyria kissed Aegon once again before tossing the sheet covering her to the side and joining her lady.

"Though it is the great hope of this court that Lord Corlys Velaryon survive his wounds, we gather here with a grim task. Of dealing with the succession of Driftmark. As Hand I speak with the King's voice on this and all other matters." Otto sat down on the Iron Throne. Valyria lowered her head. He wasn't a Targaryen and yet he had the audacity to sit the throne. "The crown will now hear the petitions."
Alicent had all four of her children standing at her side. Valyria was on her right and to the right of her was Aegon. He obviously did not want to be there but had no choice. Helaena and Aemond stood behind the couple, shoulder to shoulder.
Aegon blew the air out of his lungs loudly causing Valyria to glare at him. This was in front of many people who looked up to their family. The least he could do is pretend to care. Aegon looked to his side to meet her eyes and immediately stopped what he was doing. He wasn't going to chance fighting with his wife in front of everyone here.
"Ser Vaemond of House Velaryon." Otto Hightower summoned the man.
The man stepped into the middle of the room and greeted his superiors. "My Queen. My Lord Hand. The history of our noble houses extends beyond the seven kingdoms to the days of old Valyria. For as long as House Targaryen has ruled the skies, House Velaryon has ruled the seas." Valyria remembered all the history she and Aemond had read when they were children.
"When the doom fell on Valyria our houses became the last of their kind. Our forebears came to this new land knowing that were they to fail, it would mean the end to their bloodlines and their name. I have spent my entire life on Driftmark defending my brother's seat. I am Lord Corlys closest kin, his own blood. The true, unimpeachable blood of House Velaryon runs through my veins." He was now speaking to The Queen Alicent.
