A few months had gone by now. Helaena and Aemond's wedding had passed a few weeks prior. Just like Valyria and Aegon's wedding the realm came to celebrate. Helaena though didn't enjoy her wedding that much. She preferred to be alone as did Aemond which in Valyria's eyes made them a suitable match.

Aegon and Valyria however could hardly ever keep their hands off of each other. The couple was now in their shared chambers lying in their bed.

"Aegon. Do you ever wish we weren't high born?" Aegon was lying on Valyria's bare chest, listening to her heartbeat. Just as she did to her mother. She played with his hair which soothed him to the core. He had never been more relaxed in his lifetime.

"Yes my love. All the time. I do not wish to have these responsibilities or duties as a prince. I wish to be free of the prying eyes of the realm." Aegon told the truth. He hated being a prince and he hated the thought that people wanted him to rule as King. In his eyes if his father, The King, wanted him to be heir he would have changed his mind by now and announced it.

"Well maybe we could run away together. Just like we've always planned." Valyria sighed. Sometimes she hated being under the spotlight just because how her name.

"I wish for nothing more. We could run away to wherever you'd like." He suggested.

"What about Dragon Stone?" Valyria had yet to visit her sister just as she had always planned. Though she would have to do so under the radar since Luke had taken her brother's eye. The Hightower family was not happy with Luke or Rhaenyra.

"Are you mad? Mother would lock you up in a tower if she heard you speak of those traitors." Aegon sat up and looked to his wife.

"I know. And I do not forgive any of them for what they have done to Aemond. He is my flesh and blood as much as yours. I just wish to go somewhere, anywhere. Where we could be together. As a real family." Valyria's hand lingered on her stomach. She had known for weeks now that she was with child. She just hadn't mentioned such to anyone, not even her own mother. The only person she spoke with was her handmaiden, Mary, who had noticed the princess showing signs of pregnancy.

"My Princess. I believe you may be with child." Mary held back the silver hair of Valyria who was throwing up her stomach contents in a bucket.

"But how? So soon? I've only just been married." Valyria wiped her mouth and sat upright to talk.

"I'm sure you know how Princess." The woman teased her jokingly.

Valyria laughed happily. "I do know. Twas a stupid question. I just thought I would have more time with Aegon to myself." Mary just smoothed the Princess' hair down.

"Valyria I haven't watched you from a young age. You've always been the happiest and brightest child of your age. I'm sure you are scared as I once was when I was with child. But once that little bundle of life is in your arms. Nothing and no one else will ever matter as much as your babe. I know your heart dear, and I know you will be a wonderful mother." Valyria thanked the woman and asked her to fetch some water for her to drink.

"We are a real family my love." Aegon brought her back to the present. "You and I are together at last and nothing will ever separate us. It is you and I against the world." He held her hands and kissed their palms. "Until you bear me a child. Then one of us will move aside to be the favorite." He smirked. She knew he was joking but she felt her heart skip a beat.

"I have to tell you something." She whispered softly. Aegon turned to look her into her eyes and saw nothing but worry.

"Are you alright Valyria? What bothers you?" He scooted closer and now brought the girl to his chest instead. Valyria wanted to cry but she didn't want him to think they were sad tears coming out. In fact she was more happier than she'd ever been.
