Hello to everyone discovering this story as part of the 2024 Wattys, I'm so happy to have been shortlisted.
I'll just introduce myself a little.
My name is Nikki, I'm 25 years old, Scottish, anxious and very, very pansexual.
I love movies, particularly martial arts and horror, with my favourite genre being giallo. I have a Letterboxd (steelatoms) and a Wordpress blog you can access through my profile.
I have a lovely cat named Cabbage.
As for writing, it's always been a passion, but one I've come back to more recently, and not only have I penned this novel (which I hope you've enjoyed, feel free to leave comments), but am currently working at rewriting and continuing my current novel, Echoes of Fear, itself a slasher like this novel.
My inspirations for this one were giallo films, teen slashers like Scream and Cry_Wolf, the latter of which I don't love but has a great idea, and other horror films.
