Chapter 4

I wake up at 10 am and walk to the kitchen

Nats there making butter and toast for breakfast

"Morning" "morning rob, sleep well?"

"Yeah fine, the walk was too long though"

I walk to the fridge and get out the orange juice pouring myself a glass

"I've my shift in an hour" "can we watch criminal minds?, just for 10 mins"

"Fine" I said, I love criminal minds but really I should be getting ready

We finished the episode that we had started last for 15 minutes it was now half past 10 and my shift was at 11, not to mind the walk to the hard deck

I open the door and I'm greeted with a smiling penny "morning pen"

"Did you've a nice night?" She questioned smiling "yeah I met a good few aviators. Barely anyone knew I was a pilot"

"They'll have some shock when they see you at top gun" "yeah aha"

I sweep the floors again as I didn't do the best job last knight penny has left as she had to drop Amelia to a friends

I pull down the chairs and open a few windows the I walk over to the piano and spot a pair of aviators, I dint know if there mine or not I can't remember.

I rest them on my head and continue cleaning

Theres a knock on the door

"Jer I told you this a million times we open at 1!! No early customers" I shout knowing it was once again Jeremy at the door.

"Am this isn't jer, can I come in." "Oh shit" I mumble under my breath pennys going to kill me

I walk over to the door mop in hand and twist the lock on the door

"Uh hi, I think I left something here." It's that pilot rooster

"What might that be?, I didn't see anything while cleaning?"

"My avaiators I'm sure I left them here last night"

"Shit" I say pulling the glasses off my head "are these yours?"

I hand him the aviators with an apologetic look on my face.

"Yeah there mine, trying to rob them on me?" He smiles. I give him a smile back, looking into his eyes as the aviators are resting in his dark brown hair.

There was a pause

His face goes a light tint of pink and I think he realises it

"thanks!" He said leaving for the door "gotta run!"

You opened the bar and ran it till penny was back it was now 3 and your shift was finally done

"Thank god I can drive back" I said to myself

I hope out of my Volkswagen and up the flight of stairs to me and nats apartment

"Honey I'm home!!" I shout nats sitting on the couch FaceTiming halo

"I think Bradshaw likes me phoenix I really think he does" halo says over the phone

"Ooooh" I said peeking my head in the screen of her phone

"What did I hear there?" I say laughing

"He actually called in today, he's kinda awkward if you ask me"

"Rob stop!!" Nat says laughing "just saying!"

Halo replies "he's cute though, so we can look past the awkwardness"
