One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish... No Fish

---

One fish, two fish, red fish, blue—
But what is that blue fish planning to do?
He swims in the water, all quiet, all sly,
But look in his eye... oh my, oh my!

He bubbles and gurgles, a terrible sound,
He sneaks through the pond, not making a pound.
"Why share?" says Blue Fish, "This pond is too small.
I'll take it for me, I'll take it ALL!"

Red Fish was swimming, just minding his fins,
When Blue Fish swam closer with sinister grins.
"Goodbye," said the blue one, "It’s time that you’re through!"
And SNAP went the jaws—no more red fish in view!

Gold Fish was next, just shining away,
But Blue Fish had plans to ruin his day.
With a swish and a swash and a sinister splash,
Gold Fish was gone—just a flash of a dash.

"Two fish, no fish," said Blue with a smirk,
"I'm just getting started; I’m doing great work!"
He swam to the others, in green, black, and pink,
He gobbled them up in a blinkety-blink.

The pond became silent, no fish left to see,
Except for one fish—who else could it be?
Blue Fish swam proudly, alone in his spot,
Now king of the pond, with all others forgot.

But wait! What’s that? A ripple, a stir—
The water grew murky, a twist and a whirr!
The pond it did groan, with bubbles so thick,
And Blue Fish soon realized, he'd been too quick.

For no fish, no friends, no fins left to find,
Made Blue Fish feel lonely, alone in his mind.
He gulped and he splashed, but what could he do?
When you eat all your friends, there’s no one but you!
